There are a few things I'd like to purchase. I'm not sure if I should buy them when they are 20% or 25% off or wait and see if there is a better sale coming? Maybe even if they are featured on a Black Friday sale.
Is it better to buy something on sale or wait to see if the price gets even better?

I think that it depends on how badly you want them!

While it's always nice to catch them on sale, the trick with sales is that if people are staying on top of them and get to the product before you do then it's going to be out of stock and you won't be able to get it on sale. Buy when you want.
There have been so many toys I've received and then the next day they go on sale. It's hit or miss, but I don't let it bug me.

I try to buy when things are on sale. Unless I really want them.

Sometimes I've bought then it went on sale for lower, other times I waited and the price went back to pre-sale pricing.

Sales are great, and often an incentive for me if I was on the fence about something but just hadn't committed. The better the sale value the more likely I am to buy it. Something at 50%+ off, you bet I'd probably spring for it even if it wasn't the very top of my list.
But if there is something I really want I will get it regardless of whether or not it is on sale. I might wait a little bit, but I'd rather get something that have it go out of stock/production and then never be able to pick it up again.

Exactly. You can wait to a point, but there's always the chance it'll go out of stock. At some point you need to bite the bullet and buy it - you can always get at least 15% off with the affiliate codes floating around. Sometimes a sale will start up the next day and you might feel like kicking yourself, but that's life - you're still gonna be mighty pleased when the toy arrives, even if you did spend a couple extra dollars on it. 20% off is pretty decent generally, so if a thing is on that sale I wouldn't wait.

Of course, there are also sales you KNOW aren't gonna get any better. The 70% off massagers for EdenFriends right now? Definitely get in on that if any of those products are on your list, coz they're pretty much giving them away and you have nothing to lose.

Unless a sale is 35% off or more I don't bother. I can do a buyout assignment for 30% so anything less I won't do. Which also means that I rarely (I can count the instances on one hand) buy things full price here either.
11/01/2011
Buy when they're on sale, I say. Black Friday is a hassle anyway.
11/01/2011
Yeah, I think it's best to buy them when you want them. You never know when something will be out of stock... and then you might have to wait months before it comes back in stock.
11/01/2011
Usually I wait for something to be 30% or greater, as I can do buyout and I'm pretty sure I have a sexis trivia coupon somewhere for 30% too. Sometimes I do settle for 25% but I'd only go lower then that for something consumable like condoms or lube. If it 50% or more like the current 70% deal I jump on it because it unlikely to get better then that.

I love sales, but try not to be greedy. If a site like this does not make a nice profit, it will no longer be there..and that would be sad. Part of the FUN of buying is to support the companies I WANT to be there tomorrow and the next day. Those that WORK to earn my business...like EF!!!

Too much hassle that day, indeed. In real world and online, where you get ready to pay and the screen says "sorry..sold out", as has happened to me.

I like sales, but also keep in mind others do to and if the item gets discontinued or out of stock you suffer. I buy whenever and use the buyout, a store code or just get it.
11/01/2011
If I really want something, I buy it when I want it with no sale. If I'm on the fence, I wait for 20% off or better. If it's 50% off or more and I considered it for more than a second, I'll likely buy it.
11/01/2011
I usually wait until I have a large enough order for free shipping, and then use the best code that I can find. Some of the Sexis codes are better than the 25% off sales.
11/01/2011
I think 20-25% is a good price for a sale. Anything more and I'll usually start buying toys that I didn't consider before.
11/01/2011
20 percent off is really good, so just go for it.
11/01/2011
I say get it on sale or as a buy out as soon as you can.
Ya snooze, ya lose!
If you wait around in the HOPE it will come down in price or be on a better sale, it may discontinue in the meantime and you miss out altogether.
I learnt that the hard way on a number of items.

It really depends I think. Like for instance, the massager sale was so good that most of the products are now gone and most likely won't be back in the sale before it ends. Like Shellz said, "you snooze you lose" so it's really up to you. If you think it's a good sale, grab it. If you can wait for it to possibly become a better price, than do that.
11/02/2011
I just buy things when I see them for a good deal. If you wait until you need a new toy, then you get stuck paying full price.
11/03/2011
It depends on the sale. I tend to not buy things if the sale isn't as good as the reviewer discount.

I agree, it depends on how good the current sale price for the item would be. If its low enough it might sell out fast and who knows if it'll restock by black friday.

A sale is a sale is a sale in my eyes. I <3 sales & even clearance.
11/03/2011
I'm very picky. I have a hard time making decisions on what I want to buy. I had been saving up my points for my birthday which is on Spanksgiving. Soooo, when I saw the 70% off sale I was lucky to have my points saved up and I was able to get the hitachi for only 22.45 shipped (and a free toy).
11/03/2011
At least 25% seems like a good price, since you can always get at least 15% off.
10/26/2012
It depends on what you're going for. If it's something that will be gone forever once it's gone and you really want it, you'd better just snatch it up right away.
10/26/2012
It depends.
10/26/2012
I'd probably wait
