I only have an iPhone. My dad has both, and he likes the iPhone better for everyday use. I would not personally consider a Droid because the iPhone is practically built for my Macbook.

I had the original Droid and I currently have the Droid Incredible. I've been debating for quite some time if I want to go with the iPhone or stick with Android phones. I love Apple's ability to create beautiful interfaces and gorgeous, sleek hardware but I also enjoy some of the aspects of Android OS.

I know a few people who had a hard time getting used to Droid phones. I live by my iPhone, have for years.

Can't wait to get an iPhone. Definitely know I want one after fiddling around with my friend's phone.

I debated for a long time before finally choosing my Droid. I really like it, although there was a learning curve.

Everyone in my family has an iphone and we love them. I have used my friends droids before and much prefer my iphone.

It's all about personal preference to be honest. I hate the fight with the iPhone vs. Droid it's just dumb to me but for me I have an iPhone simply because my job is apple based to it only helps the mobile use easier. I also have a MacBook Pro so using Mobile Me on my iPhone just helps with work as I said.. I love it but Droid would also be a great choice

iPhone a million times over. Yes I'm a fangirl but being non-biast iPhone is simply better.

I have a droid and it works well. The whole apple thing is like a cult. Everything Mac is 2-4x as expensive as the alternatives - and their 'rules' are very restrictive. I think more open source products like droid, MP3 players and Intel PC are more cost effective over the long run.
But I agree - that nothing matches the 'cool' quotient of the iPhone. Had the iPhone started on Verizon, I would probably own one - but I've never been a fan of AT&T mobile and went with the droid before Verizon introduced their iPhone.

I don't have an iphone, I have an ipod touch, but I love it regardless.

I think, for its price, iPhone should be a literally perfect thing. But, obviously, it is not 'cause it can't even bring me a beer. Jokes aside, it is not just expensive, it wants more and more of money, I mean services like iTunes or App Store.
On the other hand, droids don't want your money, at least, not so much. You can buy apps for them if you want, but you can always find similar apps for free. My wife owns a droid more then a year, and she didn't spend a single dollar on software or media content.
Okay, my own communicator is very old, and I look forward to replace it. I used iPhone for a couple of days, and I had to admit, it's damn good. But considering its price it's much more a status symbol or a fashion thing than a work horse. I also used my wife's communicator and I've found it fairly practical and functional. It seems, droids can give me the features I need, so why should I pay more? I'd better spend saved money here. Well, I'm leaning toward a droid.

Mac = yucky

I don't have either, but if I were to get one I'd get a droid because you can customize it. Also I just prefer what everyone isn't crazy about at the moment. I think it is a streak of defiance in me.

iPhone! Let's face it, its the status quo.
07/02/2011
Either is fine. You should base your decision on what carrier provides the best service plan for your needs as well as coverage.
The best phone is useless if you have crappy service.

i have a droid but have been debating to get a iphone for a while.

I have never used an iPhone. We have a droid and we love it. I don't care about status, I just want a phone that works well, gets the Internet quickly and reliably and my droid does all of that.

I'm an iPhone snob.. it was my replacement to the Sidekick. Love it so far.

I have seen and used BOTH. They are both superb. IPhone has a LOT more apps, but the Droid has more power and expandable memory for photos and such. Would be nice if ONE company gave us ALL the features we want, eh?

I have had numerous Android phones, and I have loved them all. I currently have the Nexus S 4G and love it. Now it doesn't hurt that it works with my works systems super easy, that being said, I will probably sport both an iPhone and an Android phone as soon as Sprint gets an iPhone.

I'm still surprised Sprint didn't get the iPhone before Verizon, seeing as they wouldn't have to redesign the insides.

Not sure what you mean. Verizon and Sprint both use CDMA - ATT is on GSM along with T-Mobile - so Sprint and Verizon both require CMDA radios.

Oh, weird. I could've sworn there were a bunch of discussions a year or two back about Sprint being GSM like AT&T...

Sprint also has the iDEN push-to-talk technology from Motorola that acquired when they bought Nextel.

Droid... just because the name ha...
07/14/2011
I've never had an iPhone so I don't know. However I LOVE my Droid. Honestly they both have pros and cons and I personally don't think one is better than the other
07/15/2011
I don't have either but I love my sisters droid over my friends iphone.
07/16/2011
I love my iPhone and I'm sure droids would be cool too though I can't really say for sure which I prefer as I haven't gotten used to a droid before. (I only used it a little. My dad and boyfriend both have them, my brother and I are the iPhone kids.)

I am not so happy with my droid, but hate all apple products with passion

Wheres the neither, I am poor as dirt, can not afford to keep up with technology and even if I could I would not get either.
08/15/2011
I've had both~ and I love my droid more.
08/27/2011
The iPhone is so bad that I could never vote for it for anything.
08/27/2011
I've only had an Android. Iphone requires a jailbreak to really make use of and I've gotten by comfortably without rooting my Evo, so I'm not eager to switch.
08/28/2011
I've switched to the iPhone since I answered this. I much prefer it. The battery life is undeniably better than my Droid Incredible ever was and maybe my original Droid too. I prefer the design of both the hardware and the OS too. I've rooted my Incredible and installed multiple ROMs while playing around (which makes the battery even worse), some were great but none were iOS, not even MIUI. Please don't get me wrong, HTC has a great start on their interface and their hardware. They are both quite nice. I once read somewhere if they would spend the entire year focusing on one phone, available for all carriers, they could probably have a much nice-looking phone. Of course, that particular strategy may not be the most cost effective for them so I am guessing they won't ever do it.

iphone is my best friend...No I don't have siri yet. I can't wait to have her talk to me.

My hubby would kick me out of the house if I had a I-phone. We're Android users for the tablet, but a cheapo phone.
