This is something not a lot of people think about, but is still interesting. Some people prefer to have all the doors in their living space closed when not in use. Other people prefer to have all the doors open all the time (except for nakie times).

Doors stay open, it freaks me out a bit when the doors are closed. Especially since Im the only one home usually, I don't know its just really unsettling to have closed doors.

Closet doors are closed to keep kitties out. The rest of the doors are all open, except at night when I boot out the cats and shut my door. Then they can't wake me up at 5am when they're hungry.

I keep the door to my room at home closed because I have birds in there. Otherwise I prefer doors to be open if privacy isn't an issue.

Honestly I go a bit of both ways. If it's a room that just doesn't get used I'll end up closing the door and isolating it. The rest of the doors normally stay open except when privacy is wanted.

I am quite sure that doors only exist as a figment of my overactive imagination, just like this forum.

However, I keep some doors open and some doors closed, the closed doors are to keep the cats (that also only exist in my imagination) out of those particular rooms.

all but the bathroom ,and thats because my son likes to go in and get into toilet!Im clausterphobic and really dont like having doors closed.shhh.....no one knows that about me!lol

I stay naked, with other people in the house or dorm, so I keep the doors closed, and, at home, locked. I wish I could just leave them open.

my door stays closed at my apartment b/c my room mate had a chihuahua that i absolutely hated. i also locked it when i wasn't there. my other room mate kept hers closed for the same reason.

Ok Ok, seriously.

I try to keep most doors shut because if I don't I will be chasing my munchkin out of every room he isn't supposed to be in

I keep my actual doors to the outside world shut and locked because I have this thing with safety and I prefer to know that it will take a deadbolt, a chain and a lock before someone gets into my house.

As far as everything else it doesn't matter as long as my son stays out of the rooms.


Now if I could just taze the neighbors into silence... one thing at a time.

Keep them open for air flow, either for heat or cooling. The only time they get closed is when we leave, so the dogs do not chew up kids toys, or naked time with the wife and I.

I usually keep my doors closed, but often times because I'm on a video conference or on a phone call. Sometimes I'll leave it open, but the majority of the time, it is shut.

I live with roommates that I did not know before we were roommates.. so I keep my door closed for the most part (plus the house is unfinished pine so everything echoes).

Naked or not doors usually stay open. No need for privacy. I live in the middle of the woods, have no kids and live with my boyfriend.

If I had my own place I'd never close the doors apart from the front and back doors over night.
Even now living with family I sometimes enjoy the bathroom door being left open while in the shower. We have a solid shower curtain so no one can see and this way I don't feel trapped in a smallish room.

I just open and close as needed. The only door I care about is the front door being closed. At night I need the bedroom door only open about an inch or two.
