My weapon of choice: M16 with a shotgun attachment.

Safe zone of choice: There is a convenience store like 4 blocks from my house. Only has 3 windows and 2 doors. Windows are small and "breakproof" with bars over them anyway. Front Door has locking "gate" back door has roll down cage. It's also not too far from 2 pawn shops and a gun store.

My friends and I plan to camp out in a Costco.

I'd probably want a version of a kusarigama with a sword at the end and a spiked weight actually. (Never run out of ammo and the chain could be used to stun or ensare the zombie to make it easier to decapitate it.)
As for my "camp", I think I'd build a well stocked underground bunker sort of place.
I'd say a tree fort, but then what if another survivor needs it for firewood and the like and decides to chop it down?
