I would pay off ALL of my debt, buy 2 new cameras, a studio, a car, a house, buy my parents a house and put the rest in the bank.

That's what I forgot to put debt and student loans/loans
04/12/2013
Thats one thing my husband and i agree 100% on. We would pay off bills that need to be paid off like student loans and maybe the car but would keep the credit card and house for credit reasons, then get a few things we really want, nothing crazy, just a bigger piece of property, something to put our family on to take care of them, a place for our parents, and then put the rest in a bank and invest it. Live life normally tell we have saved enough to retire.

If I win the lottery tomorrow, I'll invest in one or two additional properties, before the housing market goes back up any further; and save the rest for our retirement.

I'd buy a few well-fitting men's clothes, a book I need and not tell anybody.
I'd put the rest aside for when I'll need it.
EDIT: Oh, and also a house with a small garden or maybe an appartment. That I'd need, you're never safe from homelessness so it's better to have your own place, even if you have to care for it yourself.

We would pay off debts, our car, buy a second car, a house, and a few things we want like new furniture and stuff. We'd also invest, then save the rest.

Everyone would know that i won because i would be yelling for days.
04/12/2013
I'd buy some things of course, then I'd save some, give some to my family and donate some directly to some causes I beleive in.
I refuse to any longer donate money to charities, I donate money directly to the cause.

You didn't have the infamous "other"..I would pay off the bills, buy a van (family car) and then buy things for my children. Maybe new wardrobes for them and some outdoors toys.

Payoff all debt get out of California! Take a trip!

First thing that we would do is quit our current jobs. Too much stress. We would pay off ours and both our parents' mortgages. We would then invest or save the rest...and live happily ever after.

Pay of debt, get one or two new electronics toys, then donate or save the rest
04/12/2013
I would get a good financial planner & and figure out how to keep as much of it working for me, as opposed to going to the government! I'd have a plan to pay off all debt & then use whatever amount per month that can be sustained.

Buy a house with land free and clear, buy my dad an RV, donate some, invest and save the rest.
04/13/2013
If its the jackpot then quit my job, take a cruise... a very long one, max out my credit cards, wait till the hubbub dies down, get myself a financial planner and a lawyer and plan.
04/13/2013
I'd save up and spend what I needed.
04/13/2013
The majority would be invested, but I'd still spend some first. All of this depends on the amount I won, and if it was a large amount, we would definitely retire. I absolutely love where I live, we have everything we need and enjoy here and the school district is one of the best in the country. However, we would travel and see the sights we've always wanted to see, including spending lots of time in the Caribbean. And yes, I'd buy the Ferrari I've always dreamed of owning.

Myself, i'd probably spend a lot of things for me like some new clothes and maybe fix my car up some. The rest i'd like to save to put toward school and helping my mom pay off her depts.

Pay off my debts. Buy a home and a car. Give 10%. Save the rest.
04/13/2013
Pay off all my debts, set up trust funds for my family and save the rest for security....
04/13/2013
Lets see I would need to eat. So food. Buy I a new car, buy a new TV, Maybe buy house or apartment. Then spoil myself and others.
04/13/2013
Pay off debt/bills spend a little on stuff I want but am too cheap to buy. Buy some stuff for my hubby and family. I would save the rest spending half on savings bonds and the other half on a IRA
04/13/2013
Spend a little for my own expenses, give a bunch to my parents, invest the rest wisely. Give the interest to charities, live modestly but securely for the rest of fo' eva! I'd definitely still finish my degree and it wouldn't stop me from pursuing my plans already in place but it would be so nice to know that just in case something happens...it's fine.

Spend on what I need, donate to some animal charities, save the rest and gain interest on it.
04/13/2013

04/13/2013
