What's your ideal dream job? Do you have it already? What makes it just out of reach?

I'd love to be a famous stand-up with my own tv show...I just feel like I'm too old and unpracticed to actually do it though. Think Robin Williams meets Jon Stewert.

I am studying business administration now, and I would like to run my own business one day. Right now I am currently hooked on storage wars and pawn shows. I started selling my text books back on half.com, and I am now looking into flipping things I find from garage sales.

I'm not sure what kind of business I want to have, I know I'd like to be a director of a program somewhere, or anywhere that is dealing with administration!

My dream job is still working for Eden

If I weren't doing what I'm doing... I'd be doing something else, lol.

Honestly, if I weren't working here right now, I'd be searching for a job with an adult shop in my area. Something that would combine working in retail with working with sex toys.

If I wasn't a pharmacist at the moment I think I'd still be in Mexico cleaning houses and babysitting just to get by.

Dream job? Well, there's a few.

Stay-at-home mom/housewife would be nice if I were in a loving, committed relationship.

But if I got a chance to continue up my schooling? Well, look out world! Here are the things I would do, in the order of interest!

1. CN Midwife
2. OB/GYN
3. Cardiologist
(Anyone noticing I really wanted to be in the medical field?)
4. Criminal Investigator (Yeah, I'm weird)
5. Cultural Anthropologist
6. Author of Novels
7. Professor (of just about anything)

I went to college a few years ago to get my degree in Early Childhood Education, then once I started psych classes I swithched my major to Psychology. Up until about a year ago I worked in a home for women who were addicted to drugs and alcohol with small children who had CPS involved. I would like to go to work in Social Services but I have to wait until my youngest child gets older. I am still planning on making it happen.

I love my job and actually passed on what would have been a much more lucrative career path to do it. There is really very little I would rather do than teach. Although there are days I really wish I had the income I would have had with going into business.

That being said, I would still love to be an astronaut or work with the space program in some way. And I plan on owning a comic book store when I retire from education.

I would love to do couples counseling or sex therapy...

I just need to do my masters degree, but I really want the number one job in the world right now, which is being a mom. I plan on becoming pregnant within a year or two. Once I got me babies me gonna go back to school!

Well my real job is massage therapist and I must say it's pretty fun. I am going to school for nursing so I will be doing that soon. I hope I will like it as much as I like doing massage.

If I wasn't doing either of those I think I would like doing physical therapy, or maybe being an optometrist. I really like working with health and don't really see myself doing something that wasn't somehow medical related

I would've liked to do stand-up as well JR. I even spoke at length with a comedian from Second City about a try out but I never followed through.

I'm not sure I guess I could tell you if it was my dream job after I worked it

I think working in a petstore with animals would be awsome..Id love to pick up kittens and iguanas all the time..I like the tv show animal cops I love animals I would love to help a poor animal.

I would love to be a beach body coach and work the business..its and at home job..I love their products and highly reccomend the shakeology and multivitamins..

Sometimes I think waxing or massaging people would be nice because then you can do it the professional way on yourself as well...

Well when I see all the awsome things strippers can do in the youtube videos I wish I could be that fit flexible and sexy

not to de-rail the thread but it's actually not that tough to learn how to wax. You can buy videos on how to do it and it really only takes a couple of tries to get the hang of it. I learned from the esthetician at the spa where I work and it really isn't that tough at all.

Right now and for the past several years I have been a full-time homeschooling mom.

If I could go back to working it would either be in a social work type position (what I did before kids) or as a Dietician/Nutrition Educator (an interest I have developed in the past several years).

I actually really love the job I have now, although I'm not sure it's 'dream job' material. I oversee a service department and I enjoy the work and love everyone I work with. If I could make a full time living as an artist, I'd probably go that route, but I'm very happy nonetheless.

Sincere, 100% honesty? I want to work for Eden part-time and from home. Fixing copy edit or helping answer questions for new-comers.

I enjoy the graphic design part of my job, and am not excited about the rest of my responsibilities. I want to start an adult website for women. I owned two domain names last year (diamondsofporn and pearlsofporn), but struggled with the legalities of an adult site. I had no help and wasn't sure where to get the help I needed for a price I could afford. I have taught myself basic web building skills, very basic but getting better!) Being a reviewer in EP has really helped me feel like I haven't completely abandoned my dream. Maybe someday I will find a way to make my site happen.
