We have noticed that there isn't really a lot of discussion here, more a bunch of posts. The only back and forth we have really noticed is if something "upsets" someone. Just curious, do you try to discuss or do you post and run?
If you post in a discussion do you check back on the discussion and re-contribute...or do you usually post and run?

It really depends on the discussion. Sometimes I'm collecting points but other times I'm interested in others responses so I do check back.

I love going back and looking at what people have gotten up to with my prompt, but really, I'm too curious about what everyone else thinks of it than to say something on my end again. So... in the middle?

It depends on how interested I am in the discussion. Sometimes I'll check back if I see the thread pop up on the wall, sometimes I'll even bookmark the thread. Some threads aren't worth revisiting.

I'm also a lurker/poster hybrid - I read a lot more than I actually post in. Sometimes it gets to the point in which the majority opinion can be anticipated by page two, so there's not much point in going back to read the same responses. I prefer reading the stories people have about a subject rather than just two or three word repeat of their poll vote.

I post and run usually, just because I don:t know if I can engage in a deep converasation through a forum. But I do recheck posts on a thread that I find intersting, especailly if there is a poll
11/20/2012
I will about once a week check on what I have posted in the past
11/20/2012
Usually set alerts or add it to favorite discussions so we can check back.

If it's a discussion I'm really interested in (or I posted a question to someone or someone responded with a question to me) then I definitely go back. If it's just something asking for advice, etc, then I usually don't.

If it's something I'm interested in, I'll go back. If it's just "what's your favorite X" then no.

Exactly my thoughts on it. If I'm really interested I'll make sure I check the notifications box for posts added to that thread but others are just not worth going back to like "How's your pubic hair styled?, etc."

Completely agree with the what's your favorite... do you shop...

If it's an actual discussion I'll recheck it and may comment again. If it's a poll or comparison I don't often go back.

It depends on the discussion.

points!

It really depends on the topic. If it was a basic-answer it and the topic is covered I might re-check it again. If it is an ongoing discussion or very interesting topic--I revisit it numerous times. Many times I read the responses and just keep checking back other times I am very compelled to keep adding my two cents, lol!!

It depends, if I intend to come back and chat more, I set alerts for the thread.

Sometimes I forget, but I try to. A lot of times I just don't have anything else to say. OH, and I love me some cake so I had to choose that answer. lol

It depends on the conversation, although I would say I usually don't follow up.

I have no idea how to find a post that I have voted on or commented on once a day or so has passed

when I can remember the discussions, I like to go back & see what others have to say.

When you go to Forums at the bottom of the page where it lists all discussions there is a tab labeled My discussions and posts. We found it about a week ago. You can also set an alert on a discussion like you would on a product. You even get points for it.

It depends on if its something I think can actually be a back and forth. Just saying which lingerie I think is cuter? hit and run. commenting on sexual practices can be a conversation though- so I try to check back there

If it is something I started I usually always go back an read through and respond. Most of my posts that I am looking for advice on I set alerts to know when others have commented on it. If its a poll I never really go back since its a simple answer

Sometimes I do and sometimes I forget.

It depends. I try to check in at times, but I don't know what all I've commented on. Also, a lot of times, I've said all I've had to say, so I don't really have anything else to contribute.

Sometimes I do, sometimes I dont

It just depends on the topic of the post.
