If you could have had the starring role in one film already made, which movie would you pick? Why?

Probably Arwen, from LotR...I'd say Celebrian (I'm a huge Elrond fangirl, so it's pretty self-explanatory. <w< ) but she wasn't a major character in the movies...in fact, I'm not even sure if they ever wound up showing her at all.
I don't think they did. =/

I would be a great real beard Santa. But no specific movie comes to mind.

Nora Charles in The Thin Man and Return of the Thin Man. Myrna Loy had fabulous lines, clothes, and played opposite William Powell. What's not to love about having her part?

Rachel Ward as Juliet Forrest in Dead Men Don't Wear Plaid with Steve Martin. If you haven't seen it, stop talking to me and go do that now. Especially if you love classic film noir. Steve Martin is absolutely brilliant.
Teri Garr as Inga in Young Frankenstein. Gene Wilder, Mel Brooks, Madeline Kahn, and Marty Feldman. Need I say more?
Eva Peron in Evita. Beautiful clothes, breathtaking music, amazing story, and performing with Antoneo Banderas and Jonathan Pryce.
Okay, I'll stop. No! One more!
If I get to change sex - Roy Scheider in Jaws. I want to be sitting there when Robert Shaw does his USS Indianapolis monologue.
That was so much fun to think about!

I always wanted to be in Lord of the Rings. I even started growing my hair out after I watched the Fellowship of the Ring so I would look like an elf.

It's also fun to read about, so please, go ahead & list more; I'm never a stickler about stuff like that. I just want as many interesting answers as possible. The only reason I place limits on it is so people aren't overwhelmed into not answering.
