Animal, plant, or substance off the face of the earth, what would it be?
If you could get rid of one....

Hmmm...everything and nothing. There are good and bad points to all of it.

I'm not sure it would ever be possible to get rid of 1 thing completely without affecting other things. For example, I'd love to get rid of poison ivy / oak / sumac - but they serve a useful purpose for birds and small mammals. (Eat the little berries, take shelter in the tangle of underbrush, etc.) Or, I'd love to get rid of mosquitoes, but they make a quick, easy-to-catch meal for lots of winged creatures.
Those would be my top contenders though.

I think I would have to say Mosquito's. But I agree, it would cause an imbalance in nature.

I'd have to say bed bugs.

Not really sure there is always a reason why there is something.

I admit there are lot's of insects I don't want to see around anymore but then again I don't want to be living in human trash and isn't that what insects help clean up?
