...or would you change everything about your career choices?
If money were not an issue (you had all you could ever want), would you keep on the same job/career path you are on now?

The majority of the team I'm on at work play the lottery as a group. We joke that the two or three who don't play will be the only ones left when we win because the rest of us will be gone. When I first started in this industry (with a different employer) I worked with some very sharp people and learned quite a bit. I actually looked forward to going to work every morning.
Now I look forward to retirement.

I went with "other", because I have multiple jobs, and here's the breakdown on those:
Office job - I really dislike this job. It's easy, but that makes it boring. It's for a company I don't like, and it's really just to keep the bills paid. If I didn't need it, I'd quit. If my other jobs take off enough, I'll quit. Until then, I stick it out.
Renaissance Faire/Craft Shop - I would not mind doing this full-time, enough that I can support myself, or just for fun, if money were no issue.
Camming/Selling Content - THIS is the job I love. Because of the office job, and family living with me, I can't do it as often as I want to, but it's fun, it's empowering, and I would do nothing else if I could. It's my extra money, but I would love for this to be my main job with faire on the side.

I DETEST my current job!! retail management? UGH. I would love to get out and do something else, something that's actually doing some good in the world would be nice - but barring that, something that pays better! haha!

Oddly - I would keep doing what I'm doing, that is nothing! I'm one of the 1.7 million who lost unemployment benefits on Dec 29th.
It sure would be a lot more fun with even a little more money!

I'm already doing what I want to do - returned to college just for the fun of learning.
02/07/2014
I would be working towards being a Sex Educator, researching, writing articles, and planning workshops 24/7.

Do you mean if we had all the money we could ever want and NOT HAVE TO WORK ? Or do you mean we could afford to learn a different career ?

I have 2 jobs. I would quit one of them and just do my massage therapy job but would only do it part time. I think it is healthy to have a job or volunteer position to do regularly. I know I would become unhappy if I didn't have something meaningful to go do each day

This is a hard one. I work with the elderly, something that I find very rewarding and I love my job but I absolutely can not stand the management. They run the place with profit in mind, which does actually have a negative impact on the care the residents receive which beyond pisses me off.

I would do photography. It takes a lot of money to get started and keep afloat till it takes off so that is not in the cards for me right now.

I would continue restoring the motorcycles, hotshotting log loads and would expand into website design and more involved site ownership. I would stop all work with my sign business!!!

Instead of working I would be a stay at home mom, I think.

It usually is. Money simply opens doors to more options.

I'd go back to school and get a masters in Creative Writing.

If I had all the money I could ever want....? I like my job, but I'm pretty sure that I'd retire or at least reduce my hours significantly.

This is a great question...I think if I had all the money I'd ever need/want I'd probably forget my current plan on opening up an online shop once we move and go get myself some college degrees to become a veterinarian.
I wouldn't want to not be doing...something, I'd start to feel a bit useless, y'know?

I do not work due to health issues. What I would do if I had a job and had all the money I needed is stay with the job provided I loved it, or else, I'd just pursue every interest I have!
That includes tons of arts and crafts; buy and learn more musical instruments; organic gardening improvements; prepping and self-sufficiency improvements; travel; and the best of all, learning! I would take classes in everything, forever! Yes, I would be a perpetual student and intern, but not have to bother with grades or making a living off what I learn! I'd learn about everything I wanted and in depth...ah, heaven!

For starters, I would be a stay home wife and mom, finally being able to focus on my family. I Would want to travel--a lot! Especially since I'm still young and able to get around freely and enjoy all aspects of it. There are still so many places I want to see. Maybe I'll start some kind of small business? Not sure. We've been down that road before and it can be full of headaches lol.

I think I would keep the job I currently have and do something else. I've wanted to get into property management for a while now.
I'd keep the current job because of the benefits and I get to kiss hands and shake babies, but I'd get into property management because its a great way to build and keep wealth.

IF, I ever acquired great wealth...
I'd have a foundation of some sort set up to help and house homeless LGBTQ youth so that they would not have to resort to survival tactics. Philanthropy without religion.

I actually love what I do...stay at home mom. But extra money would allow me to do more for homeless, my kids, and poor people.....and myself. Ist go to Nashville to see Steven Tyler and travel all over the states...and just indulge myself.

I'm only able to work part-time, and, though I love my boss and my coworkers, I don't want to make a full-time career of it. To be honest--it just pays the bills.

I'm too invested to think about doing something else in any other way than the way I do it now.
