Flu season is on it's way in... Have you had any sort of fever? Are you coughing, and if so, is it a dry or wet cough? Are there any white patches in your mouth or throat? Are your muscles sore?

I'm not sure about the fever if I did have one it was when I first got sick or around that time. I couldn't find my thermometer. I was coughing yesterday not surew at kind of cough but it was likes not was in my throat and I spit it up it wasn't like yellow luggie it was more like a snot ball,or spit with a clump of snot? I've no idea about white patches. I used some throat spray it burned at first but made it more tolerable and some throat longens (however u say it round red things for your throat)no muscles not sore.

If you have swollen glands, you need to get off the forum and go see a doctor to get antibiotics. Taking over the counter cold medicines do not cure or fix anything. They just make the symptoms temporarily go away.

But antibiotics only work if it is in fact a bacterial infection, so don't go doctor shopping or demand antibiotics.

Yellow mucous does tend to lean in the direction of a bacterial infection, possibly in your sinus. You might have had a 1-2, where one disease comes in on another's tailcoats and sets up housekeeping while you're immune system is already tapped out.

Sounds like a sinus infection, and possibly post-nasal drip which can make it raw. Go see a doc. I have to every time I get them and get antibitoics.
In the mean time, you can also take Echinacea to help it somewhat, and some have Golden Seal added to the mix. Both are good to help you fight back but are not the the be-all-end-all.

Is it possible watever this is may go away in a few days? I can't even leave the toilet to get to the doctor I'm sick to my stomach. they don't accept patients after 3:30 pm and I"m usually in the toilet at 5pm no pills for me unless its life or death EVERY medication over the counter or not the only thing thats been safe for me was tylenol
