The aisles were getting packed and everywhere i turned people were there. This was just in the grocery aisle. When i went to Penneys I went to jewlery counter to checkout because all of the other registers had lines a mile long. Geez! I hate to see what it's going to look like closer and closer to Christmas.
I survived walmart and jcpenny, but it's getting crazy out there and Christmas is still a few weeks away.

I haven't stepped foot into a retail store in I don't know how long...I love online shopping!

We were at Walmart and had a very similar problem!

That's why I like to shop in the mornings during the first part of the week. It's going to just get worse the closer to the holidays. Thank goodness for online shopping, though!

my wife and I had an hour to waste before my company christmas party today, so we went to the mall a few blocks away. It was so crowded, and they had just opened the doors. It was a good reminder of why I hate shopping from thanksgiving to after the new year.

Ugh I know! I try not to go to any store at all this time of year... but you still have to buy groceries and necessities. It's really a pain. Not only are the stores packed but the traffic is TERRIBLE and makes it take twice as long (if not longer) to get anywhere.

We had a birthday party that wrapped up at a decent hour last night so at about 11pm we headed to do some walmarting. It was perfect. There were people, but not that many. 11pm on a Saturday, most kids are in bed and their parents are with them, and the rest are out partying. We did have to wait in line but that is because there was only 2 cashes open. Even at that, there was only like 5-6 people per line. I love that they are open 24 hours at this time.
