What's the last thing you did that you just DID NOT want to do?

Drive home after DC got hit by the snow last Wednesday. What normally is a 2.5 hour ordeal became a 7.5 hour nightmare. People can not drive in this state!

Go to my mother-in-law's Epiphany party. It was my wife and I, and two dozen other people who were all at least 25 years older than we are. It was as boring as I expected.

A small presentation a few days ago. Unless someone's going into a field involving public speaking, presentations are pointless, IMO.

Wake up from an increasingly amazing dream/fantasy involving my significant other and post-coital bliss.

Amen. I stopped going a few years ago and never looked back. I don't miss it or feel guilty.

I left my boyfriend's house this evening to come home and do schoolwork. Definitely didn't want to do that. He has freshly baked cake and a warm snuggly bed, I wanted to stay forever
01/30/2011
Went grocery shopping. I just did NOT want to leave the house AT ALL.

So glad I'm not the only one. I feel like I'm going against my nature trying to wrap my brain around it!

Work. Ugh.
01/31/2011
It hasn't actually happened yet, but I don't want to go to work today. I have to start in 3 hours and I haven't gone to sleep yet since I've been up sick all night.
01/31/2011
Get out of bed. I love love love being curled up in bed with my husband.
01/31/2011
Go to work, LOL!

Go to the library and deal with the nasty, mean, potato-chip-up- her- butt-and-afraid-she'll -break -it librarian who hates me.
I couldn't pay my fine online, because our local library sucks (due to this woman, and she just fired one of my only allies in this place) so I called an other library and paid it through their online pay service.
THEN, I went to the library of the village next door and I did NOT want to deal with them either. As usual, there was an "issue" and although I had been told over the phone there were no fines at this library, they found some anyway.
Libraries should be bending over backwards to help the public. We support them and care about them. Then they hire these "Protocol over Literature" people who only want to enforce rules and don't care about the BOOKS!
One of my kids is studying Library Science (along with Gender Studies and English) and she is afraid of having to work with women like these when she gets her degree.
If the E Book takes over, the world of written literature only has these asstight biotches at the Circulation desk to blame.
