If you're anything like me, you have attended a stupid amount of cookouts, possibly hosting some yourself. I'm getting sick of some foods. I couldn't throw another hot dog down my throat if I tried. How about you? What foods are you absolutely sick of eating?
I cannot eat another....

My husband loves chicken. I can.... tolerate it. We've eaten a LOT of it, we usually do. He BBQs at least twice a week and I'm tired of dry over grilled chicken.
I make a chicken pot pie with some leftovers last week, but aside from that, or maybe some cooked indoors chicken and dumplings I could go months without it.

Honestly right now just hot dogs. I do not know why, but I just cannot seem to stomach a hot dog these days. I used to love them and eat them from time to time. But no matter what I just can't seem to do it now.

The only exception is later next month I want to take a trip down to Chicago and while i'm there get a nice Chicago-style hot dog.. mmmmmmmm
Otherwise I am fine with most other foods right now. The only others I could think of would be pizza and pasta. Those two just really are not doing much for me at all.

Haha, spend an hour cooking, 5 minutes eating, then 15minutes cleaning up. Kind of like that?

That and...then some. My brain rejects the reality of a lot of processed foods and meal-time is a very anxiety laden event for me, but I'm not exactly running out to make things from scratch, either.

We've been eating a lot of baked beans lately and I get sick of them pretty quickly. Worse yet is that they're always straight out of the can because we can't "heat up the kitchen" by cooking them (mother's bf's little summer time rule).
Now potatoes...those I can never get sick of. :3

@Stormy---Chicago is great, I've gone a few times, but never had the chance to actually go a lot of places or stay for long sadly. Some processed foods do bother me, I try to at least make things partially from scratch lol. For example I made sloppy jo's last night, the fiancee loves when I make them, and this is usually how I do from scratch.
---Cut up an onion and green pepper, saute in EVOO and some butter till they start browning, add some brown sugar to really get them nice and caramelized. Add ground turkey and get that cooked nice. Then I have been using Himalayan Pink salt in my cooking lately, fresh ground peppercorn blend, garlic powder (or minced), ketchup, mustard and some brown sugar and let that simmer and infuse the flavors. The end result? The best damn sloppy jo's I have ever had. But with the time consumed in doing all that it makes it difficult to get other important things done
Great...now I am hungry again lol

Food in general.
I know I need food, but it s just so hot that it just hurts to digest food.

I'm also sick of bland over-mayonnaised under or over cooked pasta salad, especially if it has bell peppers or pimentos in it. I hate peppers in all kinds.
It makes me nervous when it sits out at parties outside, too.

Hot dogs are definitely something I am extremely sick of! To be honest, this whole summer we have avoided going to all the summer parties. I think they only time we went to one was very early in the summer. Our friends had just got the pool up. Otherwise, we have avoided going and hanging out in the heat. Even fourth of July we hide inside. It's been so miserably hot that you can't go get the mail without breaking out in a sweat. We were invited to go hang out for a BBQ for the fourth of July, but the friends house we were invited to don't turn on their AC ever. So, with the children; we can't do that especially when the whether is over 90 degrees.

We had grilled chicken for dinner for a month straight. Hardly ever eat it now.

P'GELL, that pasta salad does scare me! We also eat a LOT of chicken but still like it. I reckon living in the south you better like chicken because we have a lot of chicken shacks(restaurants) around here. If anything, I am sick of fast food!!

I'm not really sick of any kind of food. I'm on a low-carb diet so I get to eat things in a different way now, like using big lettuce pieces as my "roll" for a cheeseburger, which by the way is super tasty!

Baked beans, my family always has to have baked beans. I'm so sick of it it's unreal and I feel obligated to eat it because well someone else cooked it and I don't want to insult them, but goodness the level of sick and tired of it that I am is unreal. I have started volunteering to cook it so then I don't feel obligated to eat it.

So sick of Chicken..
07/17/2012
I rarely get tired of foods. I can eat the same thing everyday for weeks and still crave it.
07/17/2012
I'm getting tired of hamburgers. It's the go-to food at my house.
07/17/2012
Chicken. It's making me kind of ill to even think about eating it.
07/17/2012
Can't get enough! MMMM
07/17/2012
Well, I'm a vegetarian now, so I don't eat any meat, lol.
07/17/2012
Hot dogs...just thinking about them makes me sick......
07/17/2012
Green bean casserole!!! Certain members of the family are obsessed with this dish and we have it every time we are together--enough already!
07/17/2012
It's all good to me!
