I suppose it qualifies as a snack or drink, which I didn't check, but I have to have a pack of gum with me too. But I really don't carry a lot.
I CAN'T Leave!

I always have my cell phone, my ID, a credit card and cigarettes.
That's usually all I have unless I'm driving, then I have keys.

In my purse I usually have: wallet, reusable bag for groceries, keys, swiss army knife, advil/tylenol/allergy medicine/lactaid pills, kleenex, chapstick, a couple of pens and a mechanical pencil, nail file, hand sanitizer, my planner/daybook, and I usually forget my cellphone and have to run back for it. My friends call it the girl scout of purses, because I'm always prepared.

I need to be clear, I checked Three. I always have my cell phone and keys when leaving, I SHOULD not be leaving the house without baby/kid stuff, but I am a pro at managing to forget snacks, sippys, diapers
02/02/2011
I feel like if I have my phone I can solve almost anything that would happen, and I don't like carrying stuff around all day

Cellphone- it has directions if I get lost, and I just can't leave without it or I feel weird.
Keys- car keys and house keys!
Sunglasses- a must in SoCal, I have blue eyes and even overcast glare is difficult for me to handle
Purse- to hold above items, plus a wallet with my cards inside. Cash isn't necessary.
And then I said snacks/drinks, because I've learned to always carry granola bars / SOMETHING to eat in the car. I don't consciously bring it with me in my purse, but I feel like it's a great idea to have in case I get stuck somewhere or a drive takes me two hours instead of thirty minutes, and the people I'm meeting have eaten already....

The only thing I can't leave the house without are my sunnies!
03/21/2011
Camera also.

cash, keys, cellphone.
Cellphone lets you call for help in emergencies, and there are times you can't use cards...
Keys are more of a security issue. They make me feel safe I guess?

A few of those thigns are always in my car so I don't need to grab them before I go. The directions and make up are about half the time so I didn't choose those.
And totally do the same thing as you

my gigantic purse/diaper bag, my sons backpack with all his diapers etc, various toys and teddybears, his mobigo, sippy cups, a blankie, music for the car (usually kids or kids audio books), a book for me, directions, cellphone, candy, juice, keys (I dont drive but have the cars spare and the spare house key), snacks, lipbalm, wipes, sometimes the laptop, red bull or other caffeine kick, painkillers (OTC & vicodin), coupons, spare pair of comfortable shoes, crayons and either a small activity book or scrap paper, sunscreen, my sunglasses (prescription) and my sons, first aid kit, epi pen & benadryl, nail clippers, bug spray wipes, my wallet (HA! nearly forgot that), batteries, camera.
I think thats it..... yes that is just an average trip outside the house. Life with a disability and special needs child causes you to lug a lot around.

I used to take a whole baby bag of stuff out of the house when the kids were babies. Now I sometimes might takes snacks if my son is coming with me somewhere. i always take my purse and keys and also cell phone. I need to be able to keep in touch with my Master while out. I will take my sunglasses if it is a bright sunny day because I have sensitive eyes.

I voted on a couple of things because they are the norm things I usually take with me regardless but honestly it depends on where I am going and if either of my kids is coming with me.
06/29/2011
wow I take way too much stuff
06/29/2011
wallet, keys, and cell
06/29/2011
My house keys. I once left without them, and though I came back in under 10 minutes, I found that another person had left for work AND LOCKED THE DOOR, and the other housemate was in the process of an hour long shower, oblivious to the knocking/ringing doorbell/phone ringing. I was stuck in freezing rain for a good thirty minutes. I will never leave without them again.

I need my phone, keys, purse, sunglasses and water and/or a snack. Of those things, I am ok with forgetting my phone or a snack. (Like if I get half way to my destination and realized I forgot something, I would not go back for those.)
06/29/2011
My housekeys, first and foremost. I'm terrified that I'll forget them and get locked out of the house (my dad would let me in, of course, but I usually get home several hours before he does). I also prefer to have my phone, just in case something happens and I need to call for help.
06/29/2011
All I take in my bag is my phone, my keys, my sunglasses (but they are usually on my head and its just the case in my bag) my purse, a lip gloss and a bottle of water.
06/29/2011
Purse, which always contains my cell and keys.

Cute post! I keep everything IN my purse so Im never hunting for everything. = )
My bf on the other hand... OMG! Every morning, we are looking for something! Ive tried to make a central location for ALL his items but it hasnt worked out yet. = (

Cash, keys, mobile from that list. I also include a pen, an army knife, tissue, gum, a ring and my necklace - the last two are religious things, but I'm not a fan of wearing jewellery so I keep them in my pocket.

If I'm going to the store, cash and lip balm. If I'm just walking to the post office, nothing. Though most anywhere I go, it's usually just the cash and lip balm.
02/07/2012
keys, wallet, cell is what I don't want to leave behind. Buuuut reality is I will leave them behind singly or altogather whoops.
02/07/2012
When at school, keys and campus ID. I'll get locked out of my building without them.
When at home, keys and phone. I always get locked out of my house and my mom has fits if she doesn't have the ability to call me.

This why I do my stuff the night before that way I don't forget anything, between my stuff and the stuff for the baby and my son I need to be prepared.

Wallet, Keys, and cell.

Wallet, keys, waterbottle. Cell phone depends on where I'm going, I leave it at home more often than not.
I also always have a fistful of allan wrenches, and you didn't have that!
