If you have a tragedy like the hurricane Sandy type of tragedy, would you rebuild exactly where you were previously or would you move somewhere else if you had to start all over again on rebuilding?

Engaging topic analysis of Eva vibrators:
all about eva
Has anyone tried out the Eva vibrator yet. I would like to give it a try, if it has the power and does fit and stays in place. So give me info...
Zeva on Criminal Minds...
I think she is incredibly hott. Anyone else?
If you have to evacuate for weather, from wherever you live, do you take your pets?
We always grab our dogs. Where we go, they go. Period. How about your pets?
Evangelion fans?
Have you seen 3.33 yet?
Is Snookie still relevant?
That's about it, haha. She's not as popular anymore, is she still relevant?

I weathered Katrina 2 blocks from the waterfront... I'll never live that close to the gulf again. I drove back through my old neighborhood right before we moved and had a 15 minute rant about the idiots rebuilding on that street. Especially the ones on the corner who were building a 2 story house on the same lot a 2 story house had caved in during the storm, crushing and drowning 4 people inside the home.
So, if it isn't obvious, no I wouldn't rebuild on the same spot, and I have zero sympathy for anyone who does.

Depends a lot on the kind of disaster. If it was a fluke, yes. If it was something that there was a high risk of happening again, I'd move before rebuilding

We live in an area that was to the roofs during Katrina. We bought our house cheap from others who rebuilt it. If it flooded out, I'd leave it. No way I'm going through the hassle of rebuilding.

We have a two year plan to move to another state. Sick of dealing with hurricanes all the time. Even when they do no damage they cause power outages and problems.
