How often do you use SUNSCREEN?

Contributor: LavenderSkies LavenderSkies
Summer is synonymous with skin safety due to vacations, hotter temperatures, and swimming. However, I'm sure we have all been told that wearing sunscreen year-round, and every single day, is very important. Even on a cloudy day, it is recommended we use SPF. How well do you prep for sun damages?

My skin tone is dark enough that I do not burn. I tan super easily and honestly, even though I know I should, I have never nor do I plan on wearing sunscreen.

I don't use sunscreen. I'm aware of the risks of UV radiation, but I'm also aware that there are numerous documented, probable and possible health risks associated with sunscreen use.

The main reason I've never worn sunscreen, though, is that I've never liked the way it feels on my skin!

I only wear it if I know the rays are hot enough to really cause damage. If not, then I don't put it on. It doesn't help I always forget it.

I keep this emergency chapstick-like tube of sunscreen containing a high SPF in my bag. I burn within minutes.

I wear it when I will be outside in the sun for awhile, but otherwise I guess I just hate sunblock. It has to be reapplied ALL the time, it's greasy, and I always end up with it in my eye/mouth.

I hate sunscreen! I hate the smell, the texture, the slippery residue. But I am trying to wear it every day now that I'm getting older.

The rays aren't very strong in my latitude. I may tan a little if I'm out in the sun for a long time, but I never turn red or burn. I will need to use sunscreen during my upcoming trip to Jamaica, though.

I started making a point of wearing it everyday, but the brand I was using was giving me a rash :/ I'd like to find one that doesn't annoy my skin so much.
