Just wondering how often you go to the dentist.

I have crappy enamel, and despite all the brushing and flossing I do, I never have gone to the dentist and not needed anything done. I go for three month cleanings instead of six, because of my lousy teeth. There's always a cavity or a crack, or SOMETHING to fix. Boo.

Anywhere between 6 months to a year and a few extra every once and a while for the occasional cavity fix.
11/02/2011
I go once a year.
11/02/2011
More often than every 6 months usually.

We can't afford dental visits right now so I've been there in the past 5 years with my mother-in-law's financial help.

Every six months for me
11/02/2011
Every year or so. I like to think I take decent care of my teeth.

I take care of my teeth but it's been almost five years. I will actually have dental insurance in January and I am going right away! I need my teeth cleaned and I am convinced I have at least one cavity. I have pretty teeth and I need to make sure they stay that way!

I used to go to the dentist every six months, but now I don't have insurance, so no preventative healthcare for me!

I haven't had dental insurance for the past 6 or 7 years, so I haven't gone. I just got dental insurance last month, so I am planning on going to the dentist within the next few weeks.

I've gone in the past year, but only because I got gingivitis and had to have my gums deep cleaned. This for the most part because I have not had any dental insurance but it is also because I really hate going. I mean, If I am going to pay someone hundreds of dollars to stick sharp objects in my mouth and nag at me for 45 min, I should at least get laid too right?

I haven't been in awhile. I'm terrified of the dentist.

I've only had one job that provided Dental insurance. Believe me, I took advantage of it!
If a company offers health insurance, dental and optical should be included. It's not as though our teeth and eyes are separate from your body...

When I have insurance every 6 months. When I dont, well I just saw the dentist for the first time in 3 years recently. On the bright side he says I have beautiful teeth

Every six months.

I go every six months.

I try to go once a year but it usually works out to about every other year.

Ironically, I just went today - needed a filling replaced but usually I have gaps in the times I go because we don't have insurance and dentists are really expensive.

I lost my insurance 6 years ago. I was able to go to the dentist for the first time since I lost my insurance TODAY! My teeth were in great condition and they were amazed. x_x

almost never.
11/03/2011
Im going tomorrow.

I never went to the dentist as a kid, and I don't go very often now. I've never had a cavity, though.
11/03/2011
I've never had insurance for it and can't afford it so I've never been.
11/03/2011
The dentist is the one thing in this world that I am utterly terrified of
11/03/2011
It's been in 20 years. I won't have my mouth full of toxic mercury if I have any holes that need filling, so I don't see the point in going.
11/03/2011
About every 6-10 months, depending on when I remember to make an appointment.
11/03/2011
I try to go as often as I can.
