A couple of times a year, but I trim my bangs about once a month..they grow quick
How often do you cut your hair?
04/04/2011
I trim the ends maybe once a year. I won't even say how long it's been since I've been to an actual hair place

I like short hair cuts, so the answer is 'not often enough'. Basically, when it gets too shaggy to recognize as cute is when it gets the CHOP.

I do so love that look of sheer panic, and I've gotten it from professional hair stylists when I tell them that, too. Honestly, the cut'll grow out sooner or later. I don't get too worried.

Haha, I've gotten some pretty bad ones that way too. I like to go to the beauty schools and have the students do the cutting most of the time. For one it's a lot cheaper since they're students and learning and it takes for frigging ever most of the time, but it's also nice because the students haven't had a chance yet to decide that what they think will work best for you is better than what you've had for a while and are asking for. I've gotten worse haircuts from professionals that I've given specific instructions to and they didn't listen to a thing I said. And besides, it's really fun to watch the student's faces when you say "surprise me" lol.

My hair (as you can see) is getting thinner and thinner, so I have to keep up on it every 2-4 months. Basically, when the sides and back make the top look too thin, it's time to get the trimmers out. It wasn't until last summer I actually grew out my hair. For about 2-3 years I was shaving my head to keep it short and simple!

The best haircut I ever got, was when I told the stylist, "I want to look professional enough for a job interview, beyond that, I'm giving you creative control." He was a friend of mine, so I trusted him a bit more than I do most. I added the "professional" stipulation, because this guy has a mohawk that changes colors/styles about once a month.

I cut my own hair and it's surprisingly easy. I dunno, it's just nice to have that finely tuned level of control over your appearance. Of course, if you end up with bad haircuts you only have yourself to blame (but that's only happened once to me and it was very fixable)

I trim when I get the cutting urge, but I KNOW I'll regret it because I'm trying for a Lara Croft-length braid.
04/04/2011
I only get a trim twice a year. My hair is long and I don't like getting it cut.
04/05/2011
Only when I need too.
04/05/2011
I shave mine every couple of weeks.
04/05/2011
Once or twice a year for me, since I keep it long. Alan gets a haircut pretty much every month though.
04/05/2011
Usually about every 6 weeks.
04/05/2011
I usually get mine cut between every 4 and 6 months. I never notice it needs to be cut until it starts hurting to brush my hair.

That's my thinking. It's just hair, if I really hate it I'll wear a hat, lol.

I keep my head shaved to 1/2 inch or in a mohawk, so I have to cut it CONSTANTLY! once it grows out I usually only cut my bangs weekly, and the rest of my hair every few months
04/26/2011
I just shave it when ever it gets to long. My hair grows super fast so thats about every 1-2 weeks.

I have had shoulder length hair for 6 years until 1.5 years ago. I decided I was not paying $60 for a haircut every six weeks anymore (we lived in an isolated seaside village with 2 choices for haircuts - the barber or the salon- and prices were steep!). I just got it cut last Friday for the first time (trimmed and lightened the layers so it wasn't so heavy). My hair is to my waist and grows thick and fast. Not sure how often I will go back, my husband likes it long.
My husband shaves his own head every 4 weeks or so

I get my hair cut about 2-3 times a year. I go between periods of wanting hair short and wanting it long. I let it grow out a lot, then I get it cut. Repeat.

whenever I have hormonal meltdowns, get pissed off with it or am in too much pain from my migraines.
I have recently decided that I am going to keep it short in a pixie and have fun playing with wigs.

I used to get it trimmed every few months, but I changed hairstyles and I am letting it grow. Its been over 3 years now since I have got a hair cut.

I very rarely cut it. It's a mix of mistrust of stylists (because they have a history of not listening to an effing word I say and of making huge mistakes) and the fact that I prefer my hair long. The more I go, the shorter it'll be. I've tried having short hair in the past and it looked ridiculous on me. So I'd say once a year, if that.

I would love to have my hair long again, I used to have long curly black hair down to my ass, but it is super thick and heavy. Now with mu migraines and Fibromyalgia I just can't keep it much longer than an ear length bob without it causing me pain.

Wigs will give me the freedom to have super long hair one day and short pink hair the next without ever damaging it!

I get my haircut every 6-8 weeks, but that is only because I highlight my hair. I hate getting highlights, but I also want my hair to be the same shade all year instead of dark and greasy in the winter and super blonde in the summer.
04/30/2011
Once a year at most. It doesn't grow very fast.

I have really long hair and the ends tend to dry out. I really need a trim right now. I always keep my hair long so no major haircuts for me! I only get it trimmed maybe 2 times a year.
08/26/2011
I have no idea how often my haircuts are. I'll go to the salon whenever my hair becomes unmanageable.

I get my hair cut really irregularly. I was getting it trimmed every 4 months or so for a while, but it's been over a year at this point.
