It seems to be true. I used to drink soda multiple times a day and when I started eating and drinking healthier I decided to cut out regular and diet soda almost completely. I've probably had five sodas in the past 2.5 months and I've lost over 14 pounds so far with very little exercise. It's probably not all the soda because I've changed the way I eat drastically too, but I definitely don't miss it like I thought I would.

I've not ever had much soda in my life. I will drink one cup of a soda drink maybe once every six months or less. I can only stand drinking water (mainly), tea, juices, milk, and the occasional alcoholic drink.

Very, very rarely. The dark colas aren't good for me now that I form kidney stones regularly, so I stick to lots of water, real lemonade, and sometimes other juices, milk, and herbal teas. Very rarely I'll have a soda or an alcoholic drink of some sort (preferably wine).

I tend to treat soda like I do a good wine. Some meals just pair really well with a fizzy drink, so that's when I have it. Otherwise, no thanks. Not really a fan of soda.

Daily, but I've always had to drink a certain amount of caffeine. I was born with withdraws from it, and as a baby I'd scream and cry constantly and my parents didn't know what was wrong, til I got older. Now, I figured out that if I go even a full 24 hours without, I shake, sweat, throw up, and have SERIOUS mood issues plus a terrible splitting headache.

I used to drink it every day-all day. When I moved to an area that had good water, I quit without thinking about it. Now I have one a few times a week--usually when visiting family.

Only occasionally, since our bodies are 60% water, and not soda, I do my best to keep my body hydrated with what it needs, and not with what I want.

I've not had any soft drinks since last November. Hubby had surgery and can't have them so I don't drink them either. Thank goodness for flavored water packets and coffee!!
