I thought it might be fun to see how you compare to your fellow Edenites. So, on average how much do you spend weekly on groceries? I am making this private, but feel free to tell us what you typically spend!
How much do you spend at the store?

I spend around $75 a week total. That's for just me.

50$
09/21/2012
I haven't counted, but I'm sure it's more than $200 since I cook dinner at least 5 days a week.

I'd say between $50-$100. We don't shop weekly so it's hard to tell. We've been known to make it a month on $70 before though.

Usually under 50.

200+ because W/we rarely ever go to town, no need to do it all that often...

Way under $50. But I'm also cooking only for myself. =]

Some where around $150, two adults and two growing kids. Good thing for coupons!
09/22/2012
Depends on the week, but usually about 35-100.
09/22/2012
I put 50-100 but it depends of how much I'm cooking and eating in vs. eating out.

I don't really know right now. We don't have our own space to store food right now so we don't actually make a big grocery shopping trip all too often at all. Since we both work in retail we usually just pick up food after work to make for dinner.
When I actually went grocery shopping every week, I couponed like crazy. I ended up usually buying a full cart of groceries for less than $50, which was my maximum bi-weekly budget for groceries.

I spend between 50 - 100 dollars.

It depends on the season, since I grow my own vegetables in the summer... but usually around 50. I cook all the time.

I go weekly and it ranges from $150-$200 for a family of four including food for my sons lunches because most days he doesn't like what the cafeteria has to offer. He's a picky eater. I comparison shop so if a store has meat on sale that week I will buy enough to freeze for a later time.
09/22/2012
$50 to $100 usually.
09/22/2012
$50 to $100 most weeks.
09/22/2012
Usually over $150 for three of us. I don't go grocery shopping, my mom does it for me (I get nervous at the store). She says it's usually more than $150 but we try to keep it lower when we can.
09/22/2012
My habits have changed recently but about $50 on average
09/22/2012
200+....We like to eat.
09/22/2012
It probably falls in between the $50-100 range. It depends how much cooking I'm doing.
09/22/2012
I usually tip over $100...generally around $120 per week for 2 people. Occasionally I will skip a week to eat up everything in the pantry though. I do feel this is very high, but I justify it by almost never going out to eat (and keeping things healthy at home)!
09/22/2012
Usually around $100 per week for a family of 3, plus pets. I do as much meal planning and couponing as I can to make the dollars stretch!

I spend over $200 for two people, only because we live in an extremely remote location, so the cost of everything is higher than most places.
09/22/2012
50 or less
09/22/2012
Probably around 100 to 130.
09/22/2012
Depends on where I shop during the month
09/22/2012
I spend way too much
