I remember being hooked on doing videos for a while quite a few months ago, and got on this kick... anyways, I still love to do my videos, and I am curious as to how many you all have done! I know some of us are avid vid reviewers and others do some here and there. So, how many have you done?
How many videos have you done?

I counted 44 videos! It doesn't feel like I have been doing them that long, I remember my very first one on the EZ Bend (which I still very much enjoy BTW) like it was yesterday!
Also, does anyone have a favorite or memorable vid they did? For some reason my vid on Little Paul sticks in the back of my mind.

0, and I don't plan to do any either, I am not a camera person

Oh yes that sucks, I remember trying to fit the vid on the EZ bend in between lil man's nap and the lawnmower outside... very stressful!

According to Eden Tube, I'm currently at 60 videos, but I have 3 more waiting to be edited

Your ranges are huge - I'd guess most people would fall into the 1-5 or 6-10 range. Personally I don't do videos.

I forgot most people don't do them as avidly, plus I made smaller ranges on the last poll I did and I forgot to put some numbers in... heh.

I'm used to watching videos and I see a lot of the same people, so I guess I should have made the ranges a little smaller.

I have currently done 14 videos. I go all out for my videos. Lots of editing (although it may not look like it) creative transitions, music, which needs to be picked out, uploaded and put on the video. I also put text on my videos and a credits at the beginning and end. It usually takes me an entire day or so to do a video, so I haven't done a large number.
If something doesn't look or sound right, I will usually do it over. That means an other day or half day of video shooting, uploading, editing, crafting etc. It's stressful.
I do like to do them really well, so I take my time and add lots of extras. I think I have only used Eden's theme song once, on my first one. I choose my own music, preferably something that goes along with the product. I've spent over an hour finding just the right song to go with my videos. I was upset to learn that you can't use music uploaded from the Apple site for any other use. It won't work with Microsoft Movie Maker. I tried for hours, several times. Once, I even played the song through some speakers while I filmed the video, because I had to have that music. (The Darth Vader Theme for my The Body vibrator.)
It's fun, but it's a lot of work.

@P'Gell-Only older songs purchased from iTunes were restricted. I believe if you buy a song today it is free to use in Windows Movie Maker.

It also depends on my mood when I do the videos, and what else is going on, but I know I used to get really bummed out when I put hours and hours into a video and no one seemed to care, lol.
Now I just stay in my corner and play with different things (pun intended) to make my videos work. I'm excited, I just bought a Hue HD Webcam off of eBay. I hope it works better than the logitech one I have!

I had to just go and count. I've done thirty video reviews, and there are plenty more on the way.

Thanks. Are they older songs, like Classic Rock, or songs bought recently? Would that mean if I bought a Led Zepplin song now, I could use it? Or would I need to buy (Oh, help me from embarrassing myself) Death Cab for Cuties to make it work? For someone who used to work in a store which sold millions of records, tapes, CDs etc I have lost my ability to keep up with new music.

I don't listen to the radio, and most of my song repertoire comes from Classic Rock from my youth. With a few exceptions, that is all I buy. Songs whose CDs I don't have or have lost (or my KIDS have lost) from years ago.

Good luck with your new webcam. I do mine on a digital camera on a tripod. It is hard to keep coming up with ideas.
I also have to time the shooting of my videos carefully. There are things I don't want to shoot when my kids are home. With school being over, and our two kids who are living with us home for the summer, I have precious little time for shooting.
It's hard to make the time, and it takes time, I know. It's weird, some of my more creative videos seem to have fewer views, while ALL my butt plug videos, good or not, have hundreds of views. LOL!

I tried to use my digital cam but I had a problem trying to convert from mp4, so I just gave up. I have been using the older vista myself lately, because oddly it has more creative room than Live does. In live you can't add seperate text boxes and animate them seperately, and that bugs the hell out of me!
When Jesibel was here she also used Freeplay Music on her videos, and I have actually found some cool stuff on there. There aren't any mainstream songs that I know of, but if you want to get creative...
And for the record, your video on The Body is one of the best on here!

I either use music from my own collection (which is pretty limited and mostly from the 80's) or I buy a song specifically for a video. I put a lot of thought into my music selection to complement the mood of the video.

My computer just converts the stuff from my Sony camera into videos, although sometimes it divides them into a bunch of different smaller videos. I don't know enough about computers to know why. I think it may be when I try to load in onto "My Pictures" instead of "My Videos."
I take my chances with popular music. Like Sir Paul (Happy Birthday!) is going to come after me for 20 seconds of "Why Don't We Do It In The Road" LOL!

I just went ahead and DID it, and it turned out to be a lot of fun. A lot of work, a LOT. But, it's fun and you get to showcase the toy, and you also get a gift card.
The hardest part is setting up the camera, putting on your outfit and just sitting there and doing it.
