How many pillows do you sleep with in bed?

Contributor: Martiniman Martiniman
I'm asking about you and only you, not the total in the bed, but pillows that are claimed and used by you.

That means your partners pillows don't count.

Perceptive forum discussions on Sex slings:

Sex swing vs. sex sling pros and cons
I want to try one of these, can anyone tell me the difference between the two and the pros and cons?

Inflatable pillow VS Wedge
Has anyone tried the inflatable pillows? Are they worth my money? Or should I just invest in a wedge?

swing
Is sex swing really all that good or not?

Would you get a swing or stool?
I prefer swing

swings
Do they work for pregnant women?!

I use long body pillow. It's perfect, because it's big enough for my head and my cats to sleep on other side of my head. Haha! I use to sleep with two fluffy pillows, but I started having back problems. so I switched.

4-5 for my head/upper body & if I need it, 3 more to prop up my legs, but that's not every night.

3-5, depending on my level of discomfort when I go to sleep.

Anywhere from 1-3 depending on how I feel. I use 1 or 2 between my legs if my back is sore.

3 for me; two of them are head pillows and one is a body pillow.

Just one. It's funny how family assume I need six or seven because my mother always slept with that many when she was my size. Since I'm a stomach-sleeper, I don't need as much support as she did.

Although I prefer a softer mattress. Everybody else in my life have only boards - I mean, firm mattresses.

I only use one. If I sleep on too many, I get neck strains.

I sleep with my head on one pillow. I keep a second on the bed which acts as a buffer between my head and the headboard. That is pretty much there for non-sleep situations though.

Does my partner count as a pillow?

I only use one actual pillow, under my head, but I used to need 2. This changed when I got a firmer single pillow.

I have a couple for my head. The wife has 3 or 4. She also has about 10 pillows on the bed. Not sure why we need that many on the bed.

3 technically. One for my head, one between my knees, and the body pillow tucked between my boyfriend and me. He used to end up leaning on me in the middle of the night (he's much bigger than I am) and I would wake up sore. Now, he uses the pillow instead. I sometimes snuggle up to it as well, so I included it as one I use.
