I overheard these people talking about how small this funeral was that they attended and was sitting there thinking, " I wonder how many people would actually show up to my funeral?" Has anyone else ever thought this?

I considered just having my future husband or child or whatever give out the general announcement and say that if anyone wants to acknowledge it, they can just donate money to the Infinity Burial Project (which is what I'll be doing with my remains). I don't anticipate anyone actually wanting to show up except to comfort my loved ones, so it's best that the living visit with the living instead of visiting me. I just can't banter back at them while dead.

Hopefully none. I want to be cremated and those ashes to be trashed. Bunch of nonsense about showing up when I'm already gone!

I'd like for anyone who actually wants to show up to come. I hate going to funerals for people I didn't know well.

The list probably peaks at around twenty people.

never worried about it. i have a huuuuuge family...so, there would be at least 100 people. i wonder how many people who really knew me would be there.

Uhhh... Like maybe twenty people, all relatives who would let their evil children frolic and go potty on my grave. I doubt my friends would show up sadly.

Hopefully all those who need to for the closure. I am going to be cremated and have a private throwing of my ashes in two sentimental areas. I have also planned a celebration of life party for those who want to attend. There hopefully will be no sadness but much laughter and memories at the celebration!!!
