I use to cycle a lot with friends - we did some long 50-100 miles treks, but usually it was a 25 miler to the beach and back.

I stopped cycling because of a concern for damage to the nerve bundle that runs through the groin. Once I stopped cycling regularly, I lost interest in the pros as well. The drug scandals didn't help either.
