Or should I say, "How many own YOU?" (My fellow cat people know what I mean. ) I officially own two. One, a male tuxedo, lives with my parents (he got spoiled being able to go outside, and my DH and I live in an apartment.) I also just recently adopted another, a tortie named Danni. She is such a sweetheart. My parents have six others, each with their own distinct personalities. I adore them.
How many cats do you own?

I have two precious cats. Both have me wrapped around their paw. The oldest is Begera. he's ten, demanding, and loves me to death. His little brother Abu is about five. He's needy, -very- affectionate and skittish. They are my children and I love them dearly. So yes. I do know what you mean by them owning me. Because they certainly act like they do!

Only three cats have ever stolen my heart. And all three were strangely affectionate for being cats.

I never thought I would own a cat, now I have two. We took them in and I fell in love with them.

My hubby and I have two little girl kitties, they're our babies and we love them to death.

Two now.

I've never owned a cat. They kind of make me nervous. Whenever I'm around cats they try to claw or bite me. They must smell my fear.
I'm a dog person.

I have one neurotic kitty.

One, but if I didn't keep myself in check I would adopt every cat I saw
04/30/2013
I chose the "I'm not telling", but only because there was no option for 5! Yes, I live alone with 5 cats & I love it! If I could afford it & they all would get along, I'd have more! I love dogs, also, but I can't live without cats, I have been drawn to them since I was a baby. In my previous house, everyone on the street called me the cat lady because I kept rescuing all the stray cats. My next door neighbors called me the cat whisperer, because I could get the most feral of cats to come around. As I write this from my bed, I have three cats draped on me! One on my legs, one under my left arm with her head on my shoulder & the other on my abdomen...heaven! All I need is a dog or two, (that the cats don't mind, HA, it'll never happen), and life would be even better!

Let me tell you, you'd end up like me, so it's best to set a limit, lol! It just seems there's always some poor little soul who shows up & nobody will take them, so what can I do? I HAVE to keep them, it's my duty!

I don't have any. Lived in a house with three for awhile. Hated those things. They could turn the hardwood floors into carpet in a day.

I'm allergic, too, lol! But that won't stop me, I take medicine & do a lot of cleaning. Having cats is one thing I will not compromise on. Although, I have become somewhat desensitized to them through the constant exposure, I do realize not all people with allergies can do that. I have some allergies that are too severe, so I get it when someone says they can't be near cats.

SHE has 2...I claim no ownership of them. I'll take the doggies.
04/30/2013
my roomate has one but i'm not a fan of most cats.
04/30/2013
We have 3...I think. 1 got outside last week and we haven't seen her since. My cat is grey with a white chest, she's a cuddler named Molly. My son's cat is black with white socks; she thinks she's better than anything and struts around the house being a pain; kids named her Poindexter. Last one is a long haired calico that drives us all nuts; barely a year old and still into everything; her official name is Callie but the kids have been calling her Stuppy...version of stupid after some of the stuff she does...this is the one that got out.

We have 2, they're brother and sister!
04/30/2013
We have 3 cats, two of them are brown tiger-striped brothers and the third is an orange-striped with white underside/legs younger male. Funny thing is, all of their birthdays are in July.
04/30/2013
I don't have any, I don't prefer to have a cat at all.
04/30/2013
We have one cat and two dogs.
Cat ownership is a funny thing. We commonly joke that our girl is *my* cat, but she's claimed my husband as *her* human.
