i actually can't swim! i took lessons when i was younger but was unable to float properly (due to asthma) so did not pass one of the beginner levels, and i never went back. deep water absolutely terrifies me. i love the beach and i love being near water, and i do paddle up to my waist or go in pools. but i could never go diving or on a cruise.

I'm a really, really, really good swimmer. In high school, I was on the swim team and I taught younger kids. In college, I wanted to take a course to become a certified lifeguard, but the class was canceled.

I can kind of sort of swim. I can doggy pattle, swim on my back, keep myself above water in one place, and bounce off the bottom.

I can't wim not really big on pools/beach.

I can swim pretty well. I used to compete when I was younger.

I can swim, but not that well, I can keep afloat though

I can sort of thrash around to try and keep my head above water for a few minutes. Is that swimming? Or is that drowning? I'm pretty sure that's drowning lol I don't know how to float or anything like that.

may be

I can sort of swim. That is, I can push the water around to get me from Point A to Point B. It's slow going, and I definitely do better underwater than I do on the surface, but have low stamina and lung capacity. I more flounder til I get where I'm going XDDD

i learned how to swim when i was 3 in about a week, lol. there was a diving board that i loved jumping off of, so that's how they taught me to swim. i got to jump off the diving board & had to swim to the instructor.

I've been swimming since I was two or three.

I was born swimming
I absolutely love the water (prefer a pool over the beach when it comes to swimming) so it was a must to teach myself to swim.

I can swim some, as far as diving I can only do a belly or a back buster so yes (I suck at it). Keepin myself from drowning, floating, swimming under water (with nose plugged). But try 2 pull somebody along me? Nope my girl when she was 5 almost drowned me when she swam 2 the deep end ands I had to get her because she didn't want to leave.

Been swimming my whole life I could spend the whole day in the water.

I can swim. My parents made me take lessons several times when I was little.

Almost drowned when I was a kid and am terrified of the water. If it hits my thighs, I am OUTA THERE!!!!!

I would say that I am decent in swimming. Would have gone out for the swim team if I hadn't been mistakenly been told by an audiologist that I could lose my hearing if I continued after getting three ear infections at the same time. Have gotten back into it as an adult, Though the shorter pools around here bore me rather fast.

I learned how to swim along the eastern shoreline of Lake Geneva in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin. Anyone been there before; beautiful place!

I have been swimming since a very early age.

Love swimming on a hot summer day

I can swim but I'm not in good enough shape to do laps or anything.

Yes I was there a few years ago for a college orientation. The lake is beautiful, unfortunately the part that we were at had alot of muscles growing on the bottom. No swimming for us

I learned how to swim my first year of college. That being said, I am not comfortable unless I can see the bottom, therefore I don't really like being in deep water or places like lakes. I have never been in the ocean or seas and since I wouldn't swim there if I could, its not a big deal. I would say that I can swim enough to get where I need to go if its not to far away. I never mastered being able to swim above water. I now wish I had.

I used to swim competitively so I'd say I'm pretty good

I've driven through Lake Geneva more than once, nice place and walked along the shore of Genfersee (Lake Geneva, Switzerland) also nice.

I can swim, and well. My other half, however, can't swim at all.

I'm at least an average swimmer but I can't tread water well.
