At what point does a nap just become sleep?
How long is too long to be considered "a nap"?

4+ is sleeping not napping

Once you hit four hours, you can't call it a nap.

Over four hours.

5 hours, because that's a normal night's sleep for me. Anything less? Nap!

I'm gonna say 4 hours is the turning point!

Over 4 hours. I did that yesterday and it felt great.

4+ hrs I'd consider sleeping!

I'm going to say 5 hours... just because I took a 4 hour nap the other day

I consider a nap to be anything less than two hours. After two hours, I'm in such a deep state of sleep I might as well just stay there for the remaining six hours.
And on that note, I don't think I've had a nap in years.

Four hours or more

4 hours and up. Sadly, I tend to go to sleep if I lay in my bed, so to prevent myself from doing that and just having a nap I lay on the loveseat, and at 5'7"...it's not comfy. But hey, I get two hours at the most in.

4 hours

I would say 2-3...but I'm guilty of ending up asleep in the middle of the day for 2 hours.

Anything over 4 hours.

I don't know, to me a "nap" is a resting/sleeping period during the day when I'd normally be up doing stuff. So I don't base it on length of sleep so much, but more timing. When I'm sleeping overnight (for however long) that's sleeping to me. If I'm sick and I stay in bed all day dozing, that's sleeping to me. But on an otherwise normal day, if I lay down during the middle of it and doze off - that's a nap, however long it is.
I don't usually nap very long, and if I do it too late it will mess me up for sleeping that night. My man can take a LOOONG nap, a couple hours easy sometimes.

I'd say a nap is 2 hours or less.

Five or more hours
10/10/2012
Over 3 hours.
10/10/2012
over 4 I'd say
10/10/2012
5. Over 4 and it's not a nap.
10/10/2012
Over a couple of hours.

I realize that over 2 hours probably wouldn't be considered a nap by most people. But I'm going ahead and saying 5 hours, since trying to take only a 2-hour nap almost never works for me. Falling asleep in that time isn't hard, but feeling any degree of rested usually takes me at least 4 hours.

After 2 hours.
10/10/2012
After 4 hours I consider that sleep and not a nap.
