it takes me almost 30 mins to get to sleep
How long does it take you to fall asleep once you get into bed?

Less than 5 minutes. I go to bed and I pass out. It takes me a while to drift into deep sleep though.

You could look at Teavana's website I wouldn't recommend paying those prices but it does give good descriptions of teas... or just googling 'herbal tea sleep aid'

on days I get up at 4 for work, I can fall asleep in 10 minutes. On the weekend, it takes me a bit longer.

Usually, I can fall asleep easily. I read until I fall asleep and I'll usually take about 10-15 minutes, sometimes I crash right away though, especially if I'm using my Yantra Mat (a spiky accupressure mat). That thing relaxes me so much that I fall into such a deep sleep really quickly. Usually, yes, I fall asleep quickly.

I take a 5 mg OTC melatonin tablet each night - it takes about 10-15 minutes to kick on.

depends but usually a while

I have the zeo personal sleep coach which measures the parameters of my sleep.
According to the measurements my average time to fall asleep is 3 min. That's mainly because I'm horrible tired in the evening.

It depends. If I do nothing all day and was just a bum usually it takes me longer to fall asleep, than when I've been out or busy.

It depends on how tired and/or stressed I am, but usually 10-15 minutes.

It depends.. sometimes i fall asleep fast.. other times i could be up all night & not pass out.

I would say 20-30 mins is average but it can be much much longer or a few minutes if I'm exhausted

I can fall asleep in about ten minutes, but I wake up a dozen times a night. Too many things rolling around in my head.

I live with chronic pain and some brain damage. I take sleep meds and pain meds, and even with those, it takes me forever to get to sleep unless I'm dead tired.

Careful. Look at the new guidelines that just came out about how the FDA wants the doses for sleep meds cut back.

It was most likely Camomile based. Try that.

Five minutes, I'm always asleep before my partner.

About an hour.

My husband can fall asleep in about 30 seconds. It takes me about 10 to 15 minutes, since it takes my pups a little while to get settled, especially when Dante is firmly committed to sleeping on me.

Cat E.
It really depends but I'm probably asleep within 20 minutes or so.

I dont have a bedtime so I pretty much go to bed when I'm super tired so when I lay down i'll be out within 5-10mins. If I try to sleep before then my mind will race and it could take an hour before I go to sleep although sometimes if I can calm down my mind I'll be out within 15-30 minutes. Those insomnia nights can be a pain though. But the trick is to calm the mind (write your worries and reminders down) and lay on your stomach with your left arm behind you and your right knee up. I found that technique online one night when I couldn't sleep.
