I graduated HS and have not gone through any other schooling. I think college is a great thing, but it's not for everyone. Not saying I wouldn't consider going, but at this point I don't really have a reason to. I'm pretty happy with how far I've gotten in life without it

Still studying but I guess I am technically graduated. Still feel like there's so much I don't know though.

I got my high school diploma then last year I went to a technical school to get my Class A CDLs to help get me on my feet and to be able to afford college. That however, didn't workout so well I really want to go back to school for something in the medical field and one day I WILL I am determined to go further in my education.

I was on my final year of double majoring in Art History and Sociology before I had to go on a pretty much indefinite medical leave because of my poor health. I really miss school and having a life.

Both Mr. and Mrs. Bignuf finished multiple grad school degrees.....work a lot of hours in our careers and yet STILL find the time to "play" here at EF. Gotta love it!!!!

Congrats...that is not easy to do. Keep up the good work and finish. It is something no one can take away from you, once done!

The time passes anyway. Hopefully the time you spend now will equal a much brighter future, with more options, later.

That's a funny response. The English degree you mention and the other you leave out. Interesting, indeed.

Advice...KEEP GOING. An AA or even a BS in Psych really don't translate into many real world jobs, but that ONE next step, therapist, councilor, or the stepping stone to medical school, law school or even a PhD in Psych and the world is your oyster!!!! LOTS of options then open for you.

No college....yet! I'll probably eventually get there! For now, I'm taking care of my three beautiful children. School can wait, children grow too fast!

Some college, university, lots of certificates and training courses, and lots lots more. I love school... just hate seeing it over!
Lesson in life....ONE degree (finishing) is worth more (in terms of carreers and income) then a hundred partial degrees or certificates. Something to think about. Keep your enthusiasm, just finish ONE of those "tracks".

It is never easy to balance life events like that AND school, but keep going...don't lose your drive or motivation. The long term financial and opportunities, which will benefit you and your children, will make it worthwhile.

I know a young lady who had a kid WAY too early. She had two more after getting married young....and then HE left her too. With THREE small children, a dead end job stocking shelves during the day, while the kids were in Day School, she decided, "enough is enough". She got sitters to help keep the kids in the late afternoon, and on weekends attended classes as well. It took her FIVE YEARS to get a BSN, but she went from a minimum wage job to a $65,000 a year job immediately. Now, with her kids in "real school", she has worked her butt off to quickly rise to a supervisor, with an over $80,000 a year salary and is going to online school to get her Masters in nursing and doing some "ICU hands on" to get to be a "Nurse Specialist", which will, within less then two years, take her well over the $125,000 salary range. She says "the cares of the world were lifted off her shoulders" as she now does not fret about the COST of raising her children and can give the the life she wants to. The time would have passed anyway. YES, it was hard, but so was working at her "dead end" job. She made some bold choices and put her ALL into doing this...and NOW is reaping the rewards. JUST KEEP AT IT, BECK, you can too.
