We just got done doing spring cleaning and I WISH to god that we had an outter building to store all this stuff lol. How do you store your items?
How do you 'store"?

We have a lot of stuff just sitting in our basement. It's a mess!

I need to get an actual box to keep my things in.

We usually throw or donate things we don't want to keep, and store the rest in plastic bins in the garage; I have to keep a constant eye on my husband, or else he'll throw away everything he believes are useless!

lol I would be "your husband" type then lol. I told my husband, when we yanked all our totes out into the livingroom..."If you havent used it in months, don't plan to use it within months OR its not of monetary OR sentimental value/doesn't fit etc etc...CHUCK IT!" lol. Mommy dearest is having a panic attack everytime I go into the laundry room and our closet. God help me, Im about to have a yard sale and just tell everyone "Come on up! If its in the house, its for sale!!!" haha

In plastic storage containers under the bed and in the closet. I have a big chest that I bought and am working on fancying it up with sparkles!

Anywhere I can!

I live in an apartment where space is sparse so I keep my stuff in closet and I also have a storage unit since I have so much stuff. I really don't want it though because it costs money but I don't have the space for it! lol

Besides what we keep in our house we store our extra stuff in a storage building. My grandparents own storage buildings and rent them out so we have a few for the family. We keep things such as Christmas decorations, extra furniture such as dressers and other things in them.

We're working on moving from an apartment to buying a house right now, so most of our stuff is in boxes and will remain that way until we get into our house. Typically I do not like having a lot of stuff sitting around. If I don't have a use for it, I sell it or I donate it. I probably go through almost everything once every couple of months or so and look for things to get rid of. Everything we keep but do not need out is in a plastic storage box in one of our closets.

I store stuff in boxes, which are stacked on top of each other in my closet. The boxes are marked so I know what's in what and can easily find something when needed.

Things W/we don't need are in the shed and the horse trailer.
Trailers are a good way of mobile storage, so you have them ready to go when you move, or if you had to bug out.

Rubbermaid totes in the storage shed and outbuilding --both ours at home. In a couple of closets and both spare rooms.

We store things in rubbermaid totes in closets.

In boxes mostly

Garage

We have a couple of totes that are holding our extra stuff which lives mostly in our utility room and sun porch. Definitely about time to sort through that stuff again. We got rid of a lot of things the last time we moved, which was awesome.

Garage, but we should just get rid of most of it.

We don't have a basement or garage (the joys of apartment living!) so everything gets thrown in the closets.

I used to store things in boxes, but now only rubbermaid totes from now on! I had a bunch of stuff ruin when I had a hot water tank bust. Plus the totes offer better protection against bugs and such.

Everything is just boxed out and then stored in the closet which no one ever uses.

Most stuff is just shoved in boxes in closets or under beds. Except for like... antique furniture that's been in the family for generations. That's carefully packed into a storage unit and checked on once in a while.

I inherited a pile when my dad passed that's still in a storage unit. Things that are *mine* have to have a place in the house or they're trash.
