I wear glasses at night and contacts during the day.

Contacts since high school...don't have a problem seeing close up but totally blind when it comes to seeing things in the distance...sucks!

I only need my glasses when I'm driving.

I wear glasses.

I'm close to being legally blind without my glasses. I wouldn't dare try to drive, let alone cook or walk around without my contacts or glasses. Thanks to my dad's genetics I've been dealing with it since I was a kid. I'm so used to it but it sucks.

dont need any

I wear glasses for distance - reading street signs while driving and especially projector screens in class.
But my vision is 20/40-ish, so it's not a huge deal if I forget them. I can get by - it's just hard to read things like the signs in grocery stores and stuff.

Contacts!

I wear glasses for distance as well. So I usually don't need them if I'm at home, but I have to wear them for driving, and then most other places I go they really help too.

Glasses. Sometimes I like them, sometimes I really wish I didn't have to wear them.

My eyesight isn't the best, but I have no need of glasses yet.
12/28/2011
I have glasses. I'd love to have contacts, but i don't know if i could stand to poke my eye everyday.

I need glasses for distance.

Contacts for driving, especially at night (I have night blindness) and reading, but they give me such a headache that I barely use them for reading.

I haven't went in years, but I know I'm going to need something b/c I can tell my eyes are getting weaker. If I'm able, I'll get contacts b/c I have kids and the youngest would mess up my glasses.

Had glasses at like 10 than converted to contacts about 10 years later

I need new glasses

Had great vision my whole life...till the mid 40's crept in. Then started using cheap store bought readers. Now, I JUST got my first real glasses.....this week, ever. Bifocals. Thankfully they are frame-less and light. Still....what a bummer.

Old age SUCKS...in all but ONE tiny aspect. It beats the alternative.

I feel your pain! I can wear my contacts, but I still have to use the cheap readers. I cant do the monovision thing where you use 1 eye for distance and 1 eye for close up. Or i can just wear the bifocals. I end up wearing glasses either way.

Contacts daily, glasses sometimes. I want to get Lasik eventually...

glasses 100%.

I should wear contacts but normally dont

I wear contacts overnight for weeks at a time. I know it can be dangerous, but the only problem I ever have is a slight infection once or twice a year. I wear glasses in between when I'm having problems with my eyes or when I take out my contacts because I know they are getting old.
