How do you prefer to feed your kittens? :)

Having the sudden blessing of SEVEN (and blissfully, mighty happy and healthy) kittens in O/our home, I wonder how others prefer to feed their lil ones compared to me...

I feed em dry food, always being there all day long, milk daily and chicken jerky pretty much every second day or so... ^^

Just fyi the majority of cats are lactose intolerant and should not be fed dairy.

Congrats! The two litters that I've raised I had eating hard food as soon as they could walk. The little pigs would suckle for hours and then hit up the food dish. And some leftovers from the table here and there. They've all grown up healthy and strong.

Indeed. Some pet stores carry milk that is safe for cats and dogs, but otherwise don't give them milk (and even the pet-safe milk should be reserved as a treat, not given daily).

My parents have seven cats at home (two are mine) that are indoor/outdoor and there's really no other way to feed that many than to just leave dry food out 24/7. Sometimes we'll also bring them chicken or fish scraps from the restaurant. My mom is guilty of giving them milk from time to time, but I agree kitties really shouldn't have milk.
