I love babies! They're so cute and just adorable in general. I don't mind handling screaming and crying kids, strangely enough.
how do you feel about babies?

I love and adore babies! There is NOTHING like the bliss of holding a tiny baby, inhaling his or her sweet mother's milk baby scent, with his tiny baby hair tickling your chin or mooshing your nose into their fat little cheeks. Their huge bright eyes looking at you with such expectation and so full of The Future. Babies are amazing. I could play with them all day (and often do.)
I'm a Lactation Consultant and a Doula and babies are my business. If I didn't just melt at the sight, smell and presence of babies, I would have no right to be doing what I do.
I love babies so much.
MMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMMM MMMMMMMMM
I can't wait for my next client so I can hold the tiny thing and help his or her Mama feed her. Heaven.
Why would it be "Creepy" to love human life at it's beginning and at the beginning of it's potential? I kinda resent that implication. (But, I won't let it bother me. There's no point.) The human being, in healthy form should be attracted to infants and their helplessness, in order to keep Life going. There have been studies that show that most people find babies irresistible, even if they don't want the responsibility for one themselves. The desire to protect infants is actually built into most mammals, including humans. (Of course, not everyone should be a parent, that's obvious. But, even many who don't want kids still find babies adorable, even if it's at a distance.)
I mean, you don't have to love babies as much as I do (because without that love, I should be in a different field) but it is natural for babies to cause release of endorphins, prolactin and even oxytocin in people. What's not to love? They are pure, sweet and full of potential. Most adults don't meet these specifications. And those fat CHEEKS that nearly rest on their shoulders!

I strongly dislike them. I used to hate all children, but I had to work at a daycare for a few months and there were these twin three-year-old boys there who were the most adorable, well-behaved polite little things with great vocabularies. While other kids screamed and had tantrums. So, they gave me hope, lol.

Too much trouble.
People are always shoving them in your face and expecting you to worship them.

I don't like them, but I wouldn't say I hate them, either. I'd happily do severe physical harm to anyone who'd hurt a child (that's already born), but that doesn't mean I want to see, touch, or play with them, either. They exist, and therefore deserve to be treated well, it just isn't my job to do it.
So, basically, they creep me out, I don't want anything to do with them, but I don't hate them.

As long as I can give it back when it starts crying, has a soiled diaper or pukes on me. Also holding them makes me fucking nervous as fuck.
I'm not having my own kids.
I'm not having my own kids.

I hate the little gargoyles; cant stand them. They cry, whine, scream, smell and are Mal-proportioned. That said I don't want to see harm come to them, so I hope they are well taken care of just keep them the F***ck away from me!!!
12/09/2011
As long as they are mild mannered and belong to someone else, I can try to like them or pretend I do. I'm not a kid person and taking care of them make me really nervous.
12/09/2011
I like my own babies, other peoples....not so much.
12/09/2011
Not a fan of kids. I can get along with them, but wouldn't want to be around them for more than an hour or so. Babies are slightly better because they can't talk, run, or hit yet.
12/09/2011
I don't like children at all. Babies included.
12/09/2011
I had my one baby, he's now 8 years old so I enjoy hanging with others and their babies on occasion.

Babies start screaming when I hold them. It's like they can sense how tainted I am or something. I'm neutral towards "random babies".
I won't have any of my own. But I still spoil the hell out of my friends' kids (she says as she glances over at the wrap she's knitting for a visiting friend's toddler), except I won't babysit them because I don't know anything about infant care.

Love them but like to give them back to their parents.

I love my own babies... but I'm only okay with other people's babies for so long! Like I said, I love my children, but I can only take so much of other people's kids.
