How do you eat your ramen?

Contributor: MidnightStorm MidnightStorm
I know a lot of people that eat ramen in different ways... So my question is-how do you eat your ramen? This is mostly referring to the little square solidified packs that are like 10 cents a piece, not cup ramen.

Multiple choice since there are lots of things you can do to ramen!

Edit: Sorry guys, I forgot the other option. I knew I was missing something!

I never really eat it anymore, I guess I ate to much in my childhood, but even my kids like it dry, or with all the water out if cooked.

I drain two-thirds of the water off (the rest helps disperse the packet seasoning better). A friend introduced me to putting in a chopped boiled egg and leftover cooked veggies for a meal.

My family thinks I'm insane because I can eat ramen with chopsticks.

I love my ramen from a ramen restaurant in Tokyo. but I will settle for the instant ramen every now and then, spiffed up with some added ingredients

Cook with half the seasoning until it just gets soft, drain 80% of the broth, add butter and the rest of the seasoning.

I forgot that too--A friend had just told me about adding butter to it, which is what got me thinking about it anyways!

I like to eat mine with chicken broth, carrots, peas, and diced onions. Not too hard, not too soft. I hate soggy noodles.

I don't like regular ramen. I only eat Shin Ramyun occasionally, and I usually add extra Kimchee sauce and green onion into it.

I grew up either eating it raw with the seasoning pack sprinkled on top, or eating it cooked as the soup. It wasn't until I was older that I learnt about people adding things to it. It still seems strange to me.

REAL ramen I love, top ramen is gross! Real ramen with a raw egg on top, fried tofu skin, green onions, wheat cakes, fish cakes, maybe some kimchi on top! Nothing beats good fresh ramen.

Ramen noodles?

I don't eat em' often, but every once in a while I crave having a small portion (anymore than a small portion and I don't love them. lol) and I only like the chicken flavor. It is really good on the right occasion.

I use the spicy chicken Ramen, then after its finished cooking, I add a can of Cream of Mushroom soup to it. It's thick and creamy with a mushroom chicken flavor and so delicious. And of course, lets not forget the Tabasco that gets added to kick up the heat.

I leave the water in it and prepare it the mexican way: salt, lime, and tapatio. All tho it tastes better with that Chinese hot sauce. And I sometimes add soy sauce. I live soy sauce. It also tastes good if u add chopped pickles.

I like it in soup form with added veggies and eggs. Unfortunately, it seems that I'm allergic to something in the seasoning packets now.
