How do disassociate facebook connect from EF?

Contributor: amenti amenti
I have run into some problems with people (familly mostly) not being happy with me liking things on here etc. I'm going to make a new FB account for use with this site. But I don't know how to unconnect my current facebook account from my eden fantasys account. Can someone please tell me how? Thank you in advance for your help.

Try logging out of FaceBook. That should do it right there. So when you go to Like something, a window will pop up, asking you to log into FB. If you create another account, sign in with that one. Though I don't know how long that will last until FB asks you for a phone number or something else to verify your identity. I tried using a different account so anything I did here wouldn't show up on a "regular" FB account...yeah, it didn't last long before I had to "verify" with a phone number (I sure as hell wasn't going to send them a copy of my driver's license).

I had this problem as well. I had a separate account set up and FB shut it down on me.

I followed the steps from this wiki link on how to remove a facebook connection and removed the app from there. I tried to remove it from here as well but I get this error message when I try to connect the new facebook account I made with eden.

Your Facebook log-in cannot be associated with your current EdenFantasys account because your Facebook log-in is already associated with another EdenFantasys account.

What can I do to fix this. I've goten rid of my old facebook account.
I'm worried I wont be able to use eden friends anymore?
should I submit a support ticket? or did I do something wrong?

You can remove the social connection to your EF account here. BUT it only works on accounts created on EF. If you created your EF account with your FB profile info, you can't disassociate them.

When it comes to what to share and the like, that's all up to the user. You can manage who see what on your FB profile.

Hope that helps!
