I grew up in the era where home remedies were something your Grandma did--but we knew better...Or did we?

How often do you make a paste of making soda and water for a bee sting? Use duct tape to pull a sliver out--or super glue on those crankier ones?

There was something to the remedies. From an era where you went to the doctor if you were near dying due to no transportation, money, or there just wasn't one in your area--these people thrived and came through a bit tougher.
