do you do fruitcake or cookies, any type of holiday baking for yourself or for your family and friends? It seems to be a die tradition i'm wondering if I'm the only one that it still interests

My baking is demanded by friends and acquaintances every year like clockwork. My parents' landlord absolutely loves getting one of my baked goods baskets every year (when I'm not living out-of-state), and I ended up spoiling the neighbors when I sent a basket over to them in thanks for doing our lawn. I threatened to quit last year because none of it came out how I wanted (stickler for presentation), but everyone begged me to continue doing it.
I like the baking and decorating, though, so I guess I really can't quit.

I don't bake because it's the holidays. I bake year round and make the same kinds of cookies so it's not a big deal to me.

I used to bake tons of things but since hubby and I are both diabetic now and he has has gastric surgery, I don't make anything much now. If I do, it's generally sugar free and/or high protein.

I bake moderately.
