Help! I need your personal input on airplane travel with sex toys!

Contributor: Mwar Mwar
Hi guys! I'm traveling abroad for a bit soon. I'm not checking any luggage. I would like to bring a vibrator with me, but not if it'll cause me a bundle of hassle (I don't want to, but I'll leave it at home).

Have any of you traveled with vibrators in your luggage? What did you do? How did it go?

Now, I'll have no problem telling someone it's a massager or whatever, I just don't want to be stopped as if Im a terrorist or miss my plane.

Any input would be appreciated! Thanks!

Whether or not you bring a vibrator, there are more issues to consider. First, if your vibrator is rechargeable, the power source is different in foreign countries than in the USA. We use the normal 120 volt AC current, but in other foreign countries it is not. Therefore, using a rechargeable vibrator will NOT be useful in other European countries.

Second, you should pack your vibrator in your luggage, only if it is battery powered. Check if the type of batteries, AA or AAA, is available in other countries. You may need to if you use your vibrator a lot!!!!

I've used my rechargeable vibrators in the UK without a problem.

The last time I went on a plane, I had two vibrators (both rechargeable), one dildo, and a ball gag in my carry on luggage. No one batted an eye.

I just traveled by plane to Cancun, Mexico on Wednesday with a battery powered traditional vibrator and the Salsa clit vibe and charger packed in my backpack which I carried on the plane with me and I had no trouble at all.

Usually it only is worrisome if they find something when your luggage goes through security. Then they just pull it out and inspect it usually. I'm sure there's nothing they haven't seen.

we did years ago, before 911 and the TSA. I dont know how it would go now days. But back then we did not have any trouble at all.

Don't be shy! Just look them in the face and say, "that's my vibrator you're holding."

Check it and make sure to take the batteries out or ensure that it won't go off when being handled. The people checking luggage won't really care (they've probably seen far worse), but if it started buzzing later down the road...
