Any tips for healing up sprains? I need to get over this pretty fast--I am too dang bored! So, I have tried ice and heat...aspirin and ibuprofen. Any herbal/natural or other tips that work?(My lower back, left knee and left ankle are sprained-I also have some colorful bruises--tips for those would be good, too!)

Heat and ice, and try to make sure to get plenty of protein. I would also consider milk, and a little extra fat as well. Your body can do amazing things when provided all of the building blocks, but it still may take a while!

Being in a hurry is likely to result in re-injury - I hate to say it but slower is better.

Never rush healing. You're body will know when it's better.

Try a bath with epsom salts (cheap at the drugstore)...it's said to help promote faster healing and recovery! I use it after hard workouts, and I'm generally not as sore afterwards.
