Including small claims court? Did you win? I, personally, have not.
Have you ever sued anyone?

It would take a lot, a lot for me to even go there. I mean, they would have had to do something very serious such as some kind of serious health damage to me or a loved one for me to justify suing.

No - and I'm pretty sure it will never happen. I'm lucky enough to have a good friend who is an attorney, so I can at least get legal advice I trust.

No. And I feel that everyone is to quick to sue these days. It's sad.

Nope.

Nope, never have.
05/09/2013
I haven't, but I would if I had a good reason to.

Hopefully, nobody ever screws me out of enough money that I'd consider such drastic measures.

I have never sued, and I have never been sued. Hopefully I will keep it that way!

I got rear ended at a stop light and I sued the lady because I was in some pain. My lawyer and insurance company did everything I didn't even have to see the lady at all. After all the doctors visits and physical therepy for my back. In the end I got about 15,000$ not too shabby

I've been looking in on this thread since last night, and since no one has shared any stories yet, I checked yes, even though it wasn't me personally who initiated the claim. It was my mother, but I spent a lot of time helping her prepare and giving moral support and attended all the court meetings. She is a reputable breeder who breed for the betterment of the purebred poodle, and had to sue for breach of contract after someone she let use her stud dog was found to be lying about the pedigree of the mother, and was not requiring the pet owners to spay or neuter their dogs or even get vet checks, nor was she getting the pups the vet care that she was supposed to according to the breeding agreement that she signed. Poodle breeders are actually some of the stupidest, craziest people that I've ever met, and I wish that people who were going to breed dogs had to undergo psychological evaluations to ensure that they were stable enough to even care for pets, let alone raise them to sell. My mother was completely turned off by the whole thing and actually didn't breed another litter - let alone allow someone to use her stud - for over five years. We just had our first litter of puppies in ages last summer, and we're going to be having another one again soon! As much as I love that we don't just breed for money and have puppies all the time (something that I'm completely against), I hate that we only get to have them for 8 weeks every year or two.

Anyways, long story short, I have played a role in a small claims court case that we wound up winning, though by the time it was all said and done, it was absolutely a money sink, so it's not as if we profited from it. It was simply something that my mother undertook because she was disgusted by this woman's treatment of her breeding line. My mother's undertaken another case in the past, I believe - also to do with poodles, of course - though I was not actively involved in that one because I was away at school.

No, but I did threaten to sue once. I bought a used car that turned out to be a complete lemon, VERY different from what the seller had told me. I told the seller I would sue if I didn't get a full refund AND get reimbursed for the towing and mechanic's charges. I was pleasantly surprised when she complied fully.

No--but I could/maybe should have. The guy that rear ended my car and sent me to ICU for awhile was 18 and driving his stepdad's truck. I could have sued him in civil court, but did not--statute of limitations is up now. I know I have permanent damage both physically and mentally, but at the same time am lucky to still be alive. Regarding him, he is a drug dealer and any monies he gets will not be public record....so I figured it would be healthier for ME to let it go...

No, seems like too much work. Unless it is something big and really makes a difference, then I do not care.

I've come close, once or twice, but in the end it wasn't doable. Either because of the money needed, or the lack of evidence. Still, if it as a serious issue, I would sue, if only to prove that it wasn't right, and not just for the money.

I sued once in small claims court over my rental security deposit. We had a pipe burst in our apartment, and they never cleaned it correctly and mold immediately started to form. We were like SCREW THIS! WE'RE OUT!! And we broke our lease, they couldn't understand why, nor did they want to return our security. They were so ridiculously nasty about it, I took them to court. I'm sure if they weren't so nasty, it would have been able to be resolved easier.
And yes, I won.
And yes, I won.

I have never sued anyone or have ever been sued by anyone and I would like it to remain that way. It is too much of a hassle.
05/09/2013
I've never had to sue anyone nor have I ever been sued. Thankfully!
05/09/2013
I haven't had to yet, thankfully.

Nope, I've never sued anyone. That'd be nice to sue the makers of klonopin though. That drug ruins lives! Definitely ruined mine... Or maybe sue the doctor who prescribed it.

Thankfully, I've never sued or been sued.

Sorry to hear about that. I am not sure exactly what happened in your case but Benzodiazepines need to be taken with care. It drives me nuts when I hear that someone was prescribed one to take daily. They should be used as 'emergency' only. That was explained to me clearly when I was prescribed Xanax in an emergency situation. I later got on an SSRI and it helped me a lot.

Nope. Don't really need to at all. Well yet at least.
