Yes, it was reddish colored when I saw it. You kind of have to be out in the middle of nowhere in the right spot and the right time. Very pretty!

Yes...it was the last ride of the year in the Corvette, we had the t-tops off and all of a sudden, the sky was moving above our heads. We pulled the car over and watched red-green and yellowish streaks and patterns. We pulled the car over and watched them swirl all over the sky above us--it was absolutely magical!!! Especially since where we live it rarely happens. It rained on the way home....damn t-tops!!!

Just barely, once. I was riding my bicycle at night and saw colored lights dancing briefly in the sky. I thought they looked like the Northern Lights, but dismissed it as too unlikely (this was in New Jersey). But when I got home, I read that, due to freak conditions, the Northern Lights, had, in fact, been visible here that night!

What I saw wasn't anything spectacular, though. I want to go to Alaska, Iceland, or some other Arctic place and see the real thing in all its glory.
