After hitting "post", or after some of the responses came in, do you ever regret a posting you might have made here on the Forums?
Have you ever regretted a post you made here on EF?

No, but I don't really believe in regrets. Even if I did I haven't really said anything here I wouldn't say outside of the internet.

Like Kira I'm very careful about what I post. I try and think about what I'm posting before I hit the "post" button and if I feel even a little off about it, I won't post it.

I don't think so

Not that I can recall.
11/15/2012
Not that I'm aware of.

Sometimes I get in bad moods and say something a bit more... Sassy than I mean to. I wouldn't mind taking those back!
11/15/2012
No I haven't

Cat E.
No, I haven't regretted anything I've posted.
11/15/2012
nope

Yes, but not because I regret what I said. Just how I said it. A lot of people took it the completely wrong way because of how I worded it.

This too! I've regretted things I've said when annoyed.

Yes!! Sometimes what I want to say and the words I come up with are totally different and could be taken wrong. I do not mean anything by it but it does happen.

No, I've Been Very Careful With My Posts. xD
11/15/2012
Not I! There have been times I've spelled things wrong or messed up with my wording, but I've been able to edit it after posting.

There have been a few times where I was like "oh shit, did I really just post that?" and I'd quickly edit it. Sometimes I wouldn't have a chance and I'm sure my tone and my intent were not aligned. Do I regret it? Eh. I'm a passionate person; some days it shows more than others.
Not being able to edit, (in my opinion as a contributor and not as an admin), is that it keeps things real. It's about the closest you can come to having real conversations. If you can't take back what you said, and you know you can't take it back then it might inspire us all to think before we post and communicate effectively the first time.

If you feel strongly about something and have questions or concerns then you shouldn't regret posting it. People are going to agree and disagree and you just have to take the advice, good and bad and deal with everyone's opinions on the subject matter.

I somewhat regretted even starting conversations when I was new here. There are some territorial senior members who seem to "tell it like it is" without considering other people's feelings or understanding how to respectfully disagree.

nope, but i don't post much
11/15/2012
Nope.

I have, but only because I wound up noticing a major spelling error about five seconds after I hit post.
Spell check doesn't catch everything and typos annoy me if I'm the one making them. x_x
