Have you ever lied outright or lied by omission to get someone to have sex with you? What type of lie was it?

Maybe I just don't get it, but what would someone lie about?

They might lie about their relationship status (married/involved], lies to impress (job, car, home), lies about liking the person more than they do, etc.

Lies by omission might be that they have an STD, are married, live with their parents, etc. Things that might make the person they are trying to bed, run for the hills.

Oh, of course. Almost every guy has. I mean it is not like they are sinister lies. It's more like you lie about having a better job than you have or you lie about how you like whatever band she likes.
I'm not going to lie to get sex when in a meaningful relationship, but for hooking up or attempting to hook up oh please everyone does.

I've fibbed about how many partners I've had (said I've had more than I've really been with), but I don't think that changed anything.

Not that i can recall, i tend to be pretty straight forward about what i want and any sort of circumstance im in. However i have been lied to and did not find out until years later, which explained A LOT about what happened.

Nope. I've had no need to lie.

Well kind of, but nothing big & nothing that was even serious. I had been drinking back when my partner and I first really got to meet each other & said "I'm not drunk, though!" When we were discussing sex. It was all in joking manner & I wasn't truly trying to make him believe I was not drunk. I'd never manipulate anyone into sex. It's something we joke about today. So you might could consider that somewhat a lie for sex. Lol

I haven't lied for sex, but I have been lied to.

No, but I have lied about a reason not to when I wasn't in the mood.

Not that I remember, no reason too since it's easy for a girl to get laid =P
I don't believe in "Lies by omission". If I didn't tell my mom that I ate a piece of cake today while I'm on a diet is that me lying to her? Nope, don't think so. Yeah it might be a secret but not telling her wouldn't be lying to her in my eyes.

I have never had to lie to have sex. I have been married for 4 years, and if I want it, I get it. If he wants it, he gets it.

Never lied to have sex

I assume they mean like a guy saying he is single or rich or some such thing, or a woman likewise "inventing" a story about herself.

Maybe I am super strange...but I have never NOT been in the mood. Never had to "get out of it". Times when I was ill or something, he knew, and would not impose on me. Instead he would pamper me and get me better.

My hubby takes offense at the idea that "almost every guy has". He never did with me. In fact, he underplayed his background, hoping not to get someone interested in his money or position. Finally he found me, however, and we are pretty equal in the education/success department, so there was sure never a need to lie.

A lie for good reasons is still a lie. If you underplay or overplay your background it is technically a lie. Underplaying can be an advanced playa move like if you say you drive an old car and then show up in a classic hotrod vette.

The one I've gotten a few times is a girl saying she's never kissed on the first date and then later on we ended up making out.
There's huge lies like saying your are single when you are in fact married and the little embellishing the truth that everyone does to impress each other. You can think you are the ultimate high and mighty perfect person all you want, but I find that most people have very functional bs meters. We are not going to call you out on it, but we know.

Oops! I think I accidentally voted incorrectly. My real response is No, I have never lied to have sex, nor would I need a reason to.
06/11/2013
No. I never wanted someone that bad to have lied to get them in bed with me.
06/11/2013
why lie about it??? if I have a connection beyond sexual attraction, I go for it. & I have no problems saying that I love what I'm experiencing or asking for what I want - of course that takes a special finesse, which I've perfected over many many years - I refuse to fake it and have sex w/o getting something out of it for me.
06/11/2013
My boyfriend and I were being goofy one day and we were swapping the lies that we'd heard people say in high school between kisses. "If we don't have sex soon my penis will explode," "You don't need a condom, I'm a virgin," and things like that. It was funny and sexy!
06/12/2013
Nope. I have however lied to get out of having sex.
