Have you ever gotten Senioritis?

Contributor: hillys hillys
So I though senioritis only happened in high school, but apparently it happens in college too. Who's struggling currently with this?

More like Senior Anxiety, both times. I was terrified (but still excited) to be graduating. Both times feeling "OMG What if I fuck up my life afterward??"

I actually did fuck up my life after high school - lots of bad decisions due to a sheltered life and romantic ideas of what life was about. At least I'm doing better after college.

I'm currently suffering from it in college. I have 31 days until graduation. Can I just say...

I'm pretty burnt out and so DONE. I have two papers due tomorrow morning and I have to work in 5 hours. So I'm here on Eden, not writing my papers. My final semester is dragging by so slow.

The last two years of college and then the last year of high school. Does the last few months before I switched jobs count?

I had a college lined up in high school, a job prospect lined up in college, and a job lined up in law school. I was relatively stress-free.

I got it both in high school and college. So glad I'm done with that!

Had it in both college and high school. Somehow I managed to pull through, it helped to focus less on the future and more on where i was

Yes it was pretty rough in high school. I had already been accepted into college so it was very hard to be motivated to study

I did in high school and I still do. I've learned to just take less credits in the spring because it happens every year, even in college. There's just something about warmer weather that makes me not care quite as much about school.

I was simply excited about moving on from high school (with no real anxiety), but with college it was similar to yours: "What the hell am I gonna do NOW?!"

I was so anxious about it (and burned out from working full time so I could afford to stay in school) that I dropped out just a few hours short of graduation, and didn't go back for over 15 years. I guess that's the worst kind of "senioritis" . Many times, I've wished I could go back and finish on time. But it all worked out OK...glad it's going better for you now!

I graduated hs last year and haven't really done much since then, so you could say I've had it for about a year. I'm planning on going back to school soon so I can get my life back in order and actually do something.

I guess in a way i'm currently experiencing this. i didnt formally graduate high school, and after dropping out the second time i spent three years doing nothing. Now that i'm in my last semester of my undergrad program to get my general AA i've started to find myself wanting to slack off and cut classes, and put less effort into work. I think it's more so that i'm done with being at my current college and am ready to get into a university.

I'm kinda getting it now, in college. I have lots of backlogged online homework and projects to do, and I just don't want to do anything.
