Have you ever changed your EdenFantasys's name?

Contributor: Nazaress Nazaress
I've been thinking of changing my name on here because when I made this account, I never realized I'd be here for the "long run". My name on here, oddly enough as it is nonsensical, may lead some people to finding me on here and I'd rather that not happen just yet. Because of this, I've considered changing it. My problem is that I'm afraid people won't recognize me anymore (although I'm not sure anyone recognizes me, anyway, though I do spend quite a lot of time here).

So have you ever changed your name on here? Did people have trouble recognizing who you were afterwards? Did you forget you changed it and have trouble finding your own threads and posts (I know this will happen to me)?

Some people who've changed their name here usually keep the same avatar, and even put a "(aka former-name-here)" ; after their new name. It helps the transition in identifying that it's the same person.

I'm considering changing my name. Firstly, Michelle isn't even my real first name. Secondly, it doesn't seem to fit me anymore.

Yup, for the same reasons you said! But I don't think I'm terribly well known on here, so it didn't change much

I can't remember what my original account name was on here like almost 6 years ago, but I think I have changed it a couple of times. The most recent is "CookieMonsterMike" and I like it!

Otherwise my name is Michael, or Mike if you want to call me that. I try not to give out my last name, but it's easily accessible anyways so oh well.

I changed my EF username, but it was very early on. You could put "formerly Nazaress" in your name for a while, and/or keep recognizable avatar. Also, your original name will be visible in your profile's URL (i.e. edenfantasys.com/namew illnotgoaway).

I've changed my name on here, yes. I don't think anyone ever had a problem recognising me, but then again that may be because I'm a bit forgettable. I have that little note on my public page saying 'Formerly Cave Diver' so I hope that has helped people in the past. Maybe if, once you change your name, you sign your posts 'New-Name, Formerly Nazaress' for a while after, instead of having it in your actual name, then that could be of use.

Not really. If I did it would have something that my owner likes or is in her name.

Really? The URL doesn't change? I mean, I guess that kind of makes sense. But it also defeats the purpose of changing my name. Maybe I'll just keep it the same, anyway. It's not like no one else has ever used this username. I've stumbled across a few, oddly, that weren't me.

I've never changed mine, would be too confusing. lol I get confused when others change their names too, unless they're extremely similar to their old names, or if they have the old name in parentheses or something. Same thing with Avatars. I guess I am a creature of habit!

I was thinking the same thing the other day.I wasn't sure if I could change it, but I definitely need to change mine. Folks that I know could definitely link me to this account through my name and quite frankly, wouldn't be the best thing lol.

I was wondering too about my posts/threads and reviews, if it would change that too or if they would stay the same.

Your name and avatar (if you change that, too) will change in all your posts and reviews. The only place it won't change is when it's actually typed out in a post by you or someone else (like being congratulated in a contest thread and people write your screen name out as part of the congratting).

Yes, I believe so. (See my URL.) Maybe it's possible to submit a ticket and get your URL changed as well, but I'm really not sure.

It stays the same. My URL still says "nire" at the end.

I'm of the (aka Old Name Here) variety, as you can see. I started going by Rin simply because I think it sounds nicer. I kept the old name indicator so people on here would know it's still me, and because Nire or some variant thereof is my screen-name on many sites and it didn't feel right to get rid of it completely. Both Rin and Nire are just plays on my real name, Erin.

I've changed it. When I first joined in September of 2011 - I was "TexasMama" but after a few weeks on here and having a complete lifestyle change (going from sex once a week maybe to sex every day or twice a day sometimes) - I wanted something that expressed the "New" me. So I changed it to "Hot'N Sexy TexasMama" and I love it.

But yes, my url name is still TexasMama and I don't think they can change it even with a support ticket because the reviews are linked to your page and that is in the database - probably several different ways.
