Not only did he work where I worked at but he lived only two houses from me. I would walk to and from work (no car and the area has no public transportation) which he just so happen to walk the same way. It started out as nothing. Just two people who walked the same way to work and back home cause we lived by each other. But the more he got to know me (which wasn't a whole lot) the more he "fell for me." The days he had off and I worked he would wait in the ditch in the dark for me to leave work and as I was walking down the dark road he would suddenly pop up to walk me home cause he thought I would like company. Yeah, creepy. On his breaks he would come over to the areas where I worked to pester me or sit and stare at me. Extremely creepy. Let's put it this way, from the get go I tried to seem unattractive to him. From the start I made up this guy that I was oh so hung up on. I even faked cried over how much I am in love with this guy, screamed, etc. Way over the tops dramatic in hopes it'll scare the crap out of him and he'll run (this was while he still seemed normal, just insistent on going on a date with me). He literally said "I like you more cause you are being so real right now with me." Are you kidding me? Hell, I would even run! So few days later I told him that I told this guy I was in love with him and that we where in a relationship..... Didn't stop him. Then one night I was home alone with my dog. My dog starts freaking out running to the door just barking up a storm. Only time she does that is when someone is there. It was after midnight. I start to head to the door (I was all the way in the kitchen) thinking that it was my Sister (my Mom is terminally ill, she and my step-dad was on vacation, so my first thought was something happened while they where gone) but half way through my living room I realized nobody was knocking. I knew then whoever it was was just standing at the door (which my sister wouldn't do). I quietly crept up to the door and that's when I heard him moving around than walk out the enclosed porch. At that point I messaged/text/etc a few friends to tell them what had happened. Next day I went to work and talked to them about it. I also sent him a email telling him to back off or I will go to the police..... Kicker of the story was that he was married. And I wasn't the only one he was doing this too. But being his neighbor I was easier to bother more. Thankfully he ended up losing his job (I know of at least two other woman at my job he harassed so it's no wonder he lost his job). Oh and I moved since than too. Since I work in a major store and the main store in the area he still has to come in to grocery shop, with his wife, but he avoids me like the plaque. Thankfully!
