Also, are you crazy impressed with where technology has taken us? When IT was a little kid, I would watch Star Trek with my Dad, and I'd think, "oh wow, we're gonna have those oneday".... and lo and behold, we have them... and much more advanced ones than the fake one from then.

So, have you bought one? Do you think it's crazy where technology is taking us?

I have a first gen iPad. Bought it when it came out. I also have a first gen Kindle. I need to stop buying things as soon as they come out. Now everything is outdated.

I haven't. While I think they're cool as all get out, I'm not keen to jump on the bandwagon just because everyone is getting one. If you guys knew how long it took me to get a DVD player after they came out, you would laugh. I'm that way about technology. Still have a 'boob tube' style TV (does anyone even know that phrase anymore?) and have no plans of buying a flat screen anytime soon. My husband teases me about it from time to time, but he knows if he ever brought one in the house it would go right back to the store. I'd rather save my pennies for a rainy day than spend it on the hottest new thing..

I'm a penny pincher myself. But with them becoming more popular, you can get one for under a 100 at this point.

Technology is crazy advancing, and since it is and newer and better things are becoming available, these tablets are becoming more affordable for average Joe.
