I said "Hair tie" but I've known others to call it an elastic, even a bow. A "ponytail holder," it probably just differs in area. Which do you call it?

I said "hair box" because I don't have "long hair", per se, but I use little clippies (That's what I call them) that look like bows to hold the hair out of my face.
EDIT: But now that I think about it, I'd probably call it a "hair tie" if I was using it for the back of my hair. XP

Hair tie or hair elastic. As a kid I always called them all "hair pretties."

My mother and I just call them 'ponytail holders'.
The term hair elastic sort of makes me think of those little rubber bands you can buy to secure the end of a braid.
