There was MySpace, then FaceBook and Twitter, and it looks like Google wants to have their own, which they're calling Google Plus.
It's going to have a similar structure to FaceBook with profile pictures and newsfeeds, but friends and contacts will be grouped by each user's choosings, somewhat like the lists on Twitter. (Visualize a Venn Diagram with circles that overlap or not, and your friends, family, etc, each occupying a circle - the circles may or may not intersect). Google also says they'll have a better approach to privacy than FaceBook does.
So, what do you think? Would you join up when it goes live, and do you think it'll be a serious competitor with FaceBook?
